Nando's Staines — Restaurant in Borough of Spelthorne

We ordered through the app for take away. When we arrived they said our order would be ready in 6 mins. Later, they gave the order to my teen and when I checked it in the car - it was not our order. Give it back to them and then say they will start looking for our order. (We got the "Success" confirmation of our order on the App. The funds were taken from our bank account. ) But now after being there 20 mins they are saying - show us your confirmation email. We are having trouble with the App - But I show where they debited the funds from my account. No - they says that's not good enough. One of the wait staff asks what our order is : 2 sets of 10 wings, with fries and garlic bread. (This is their wheel house.) She says I'll go get it started.......And 15 mins later a Manager, Filipe, comes out from being in the back or upstairs and says "no order without a confirmation email! Did you get a confirmation email?" I try to explain that we have now been at the store for 40 mins and under the impression they were looking for and/or cooking our order. "No order without confirmation order." What about the payment Nando's has taken? "It will be returned to you." ????? Currently the app is only taking 2 take away orders per hour is what Filipe tells me.....But that information is NOT on the website. So we got home at 9:30 emply handed. Plus why have a app to order on - if it needs a email???? Thank goodness there are well run businesses like GBK! Their App...

I WENT TO PETS AT HOME FOR MY KITTY HEALTH CHECK AND AFTER Walked in to Nando’s with my kitty baby in her travelling bag just to have a quick lunch and they made me sit on the table as I was only myself I went to the counter as I ordered my food and was about to head back to the table a lady apparently the manager name Jemma stormed and said are you the gentlemen who is sitting on table 6 I said yea and she replied sorry we can’t allow cats and dogs in the restaurant and I said well she is in her bag there’s no way she is coming out of that and she replied no we can’t and I said okay show me where it says you are not allowed to bring kitty in her bad she googled it rather than showing me company policy and said look it says no dogs and o said clearly it says no dogs because they are open on leash I understand but cats are in their travelling bag she refused hence it says clearly just the dogs I asked her to cancel my order and walked out Went just next door to it TGI FRIDAYS awesome they were welcoming with my beautiful kitty too COME ON NANDOS I UNDERSTAND DOGS ARE ON LEASH NOT IN THE BAG BUT CATS THEY ARE IN THEIR BAG SECURED NO WAY TO BE BOTHERING PEOPLE THOUGH I HAVE TWO DOG BABIES ASWELL BUT THIS IS JUST SO UNREASONABLE NOT COMING TO NANDOS STAINES AGAIN WHERE MY BABY IS NOT WELCOME AND PLEASE TRAIN YOUR MANAGERS TO AT LEAST SHOW CUSTOMERS POLICY ON COMPANIES BOOKLET NOT ON GOOGLE AND CALLING DOG NOT ALLOWED SAME AS CAT NOY GOOD...
