Burra — Restaurant in Bristol

I had 20 minutes to spare in my day and walked past Burra to get a coffee. It was about half full so thought I could quickly sit in, grab a drink and pop off like you can do at most cafes. I was told at the till that it was table service so I sat for 20 mins and was not approached by any member of staff to take my order. In fact in those 20 minutes I didn’t see a single waiter to ask about ordering except those making the coffees and serving many take away customers. Burra was the first cafe I went to when I first moved to Bristol! It was highly recommended to me, and my visit was nothing short of a sweet welcoming spot. I enjoyed a lovely sweet treat and delicious coffee while I read my book and did some journaling. I’ve since gone back to their new North St. Location for brunch and the food looked and tasted amazing, and atmosphere was uplifting and open to all types of customers, from families and on-the-goers to seasoned brunchers and students like myself. I don't know what they do to their coffee at Burra, but daaaaamn it's good. They have clearly selected a really great coffee beanage, and are making magic with the espresso jobber. The coffee is always great, the staff are friendly and inviting, it's a really nice place to be. I have one problem... The food is also super tasty and looks amazing which means I'm always tempted to break my diet and grab a lovely munch. I must resist! Keep up the great...
