Such a gorgeous hidden gem. The added magic of all the workshops and classes happening in the rest of the building adds a really peaceful energy to the place. Menu changes regularly so it's always a surprise to find out what's on and never gets boring. Staff are always helpful and generous. A real community treasure.

Hidden away but worth a visit for a chilled cafe bar with excellent food. Check Wriggle app for offers! They're closing for a couple of weeks for a refurb so check in advance of you're planning to visit.

Not having been here before 3 of us called in for coffee and toast in the morning to check it out as a possible lunch venue later in the day. Assuming that the extras with the toast would be supplied separately for the customer to apply one asked if they could have honey and jam, and another marmite and jam (so they could have one savoury slice and one sweet). After an absolute age it eventually turned up with two slices of toast with both honey AND jam mixed together and pre-spread on both slices and (yep, you guessed it) 2 slices of toast spread with marmite and jam mixed together! Who in their right mind would do that?? When we said we had assumed that it would come separately (or at least 1 Marmite toast and 1 jam slice) the server seemed dumbstruck. We asked for it to be replaced, which took getting on for 20 minutes before two tiny pieces of replacement slices of toast appeared, this time one marmite and one jam, which we had to pay another £3.30 for! Shocking! Needless to say we didn't go back for lunch and know not to go back in the future....

Have previously attended a make your own silver ring course here in previous years. Walk past early as looking for a bite to eat at lunch time and remembered their cafe. So pleased I did, fabulous fabulous soup with amazing flavours served with scrumptious bread. It provides a welcome calm haven to the busy Hospital and park street, lovely and enviting atmosphere with friendly staff. The filter coffee could have been a little warmer, but I should have said at the time. Definitely shall be my go to timeout place on future trips into Bristol city...

The perfect place to take vegans, coeliacs etc So many amazing healthy, nutritious options form a lovely group of staff. Took the family on a trip to Bristol and we had a lovely selection for lunch. All home cooked (of course) and they were massively helpful with my father's dietary requirement. Tucked just off Park st, you'd never know you were right in Bristol city centre. The garden is so calm and matched perfectly by the relaxed atmosphere. Coffee was tasty and crucially- hot!! Don't try and resist the cakes. Just succumb! you will...
