Always had a great time at the Forresters, however went there yesterday and was continually jumped on by the women at the bar. I understand there are covid regulations but she was well over the top, we had 2 tables of 4 yet she would continually say we couldnt talk to each other and seemed to take great pleasure in doing it amongst other things. Even walking out the door she shouted at me when i took my mask off, we would have easily stayed for a few more rounds but me and my friends were really put off by her attitude to us and headed to the Sportsman instead, ill go back there again hopefully the woman there will have left for...

Just reopened after being closed for a couple of weeks; now taken back in-house as a Managed (Craft Union Pub Company) Venue, rather than Tenanted. A modest and sympathetic refurbishment; all spic and span with new furniture, a lick of paint - and a host of TVs showing Sport all day. I appreciate that's not for everyone but it's in the background, not too intrusive. No food available but plenty of events planned. A range of good beers including three cask ales, a full selection of wines and spirits, decent prices and friendly staff - a real community asset...

Gross rough pub, smells of BO. This pub seems to have landed from space - no local people use this pub. It attracts loud drunken football fans etc. from elsewhere. No decent drinks or food.
