Been living abroad and this is the first English Breakfast I've had in almost a year and a half. I was really looking forward to it but was left very dissatisfied. Food is mostly pre-cooked and sits in a metal container that is heated. I think the egg and hash brown might have been cooked while everything else was cooked sometime before and kept warm in the metal container. Just like school dinners.
The fried bread melted into oil once you bit into it, proper gross!! How hard is it to actually cook a fresh fry up? My friend asked for his bacon to be cooked crispy but obviously as the bacon was precooked that didn't happen, and his bacon was exactly the same as mine. A cafe at a motorcycles dealership could be a massive draw for punters who'll eat and browse the store but is never going to happen with a pre-cooked breakfast using really cheap nasty wholesale ingredients.
Don't get me started on the actual dealership experience. Completely overstaffed and empty. Yet not a smile or a hello. I even told the clothing girl that my mate wanted new boots and could be tempted to buy some, she turned her back and walked away. Also salesman eating their lunch at their desk not a good...
Read moreExtremely overpriced for the quality of food provided. Please see the attached photo for reference. ⢠Bacon: Undercooked, with the fat left chewy and inedible. The texture was closer to ham than bacon, and I ended up removing it all. ⢠Mushrooms: Barely cooked, left pale and slimy. ⢠Beans: Served coldânot even lukewarm. For something so simple, this was especially disappointing. ⢠Tomatoes: Just like the beans, lukewarm at best. ⢠Toast: Arrived cold. ⢠Sausages: Nicely cooked and probably the best part of the plate. ⢠Eggs: Decent, nothing to complain about.
The most striking part of the breakfast was the presentation. The plate itself is enormous, giving the illusion of a generous portion. In reality, the beans and tomatoes were spread out thinly in small amounts, which felt misleading.
Iâm glad I came to see what the hype was about, but I certainly wonât...

Wasnât brave enough to ride over so drove the car. No issues with parking on arrival.
Went for the mega breakfast at ÂŁ13. Was plenty on the plate and a nice meal. Nice food, but bacon a bit fatty.
Only gripe really, for ÂŁ13 it would be nice to have a hot drink included with the mega breakfast instead of paying ÂŁ1.75 for one tea bag! ÂŁ27 for two breakfast and 2 teas. Slightly on the expensive side, however thatâs life these days.
Clean and plenty of seats up stairs, complimentary sauces (Heinz) on the table also.
Independent / family run business so their overheads, wages etc. Nice to support independent places these days and not the greedy chains.
I will return again, hopefully on the bike to try the...
