Incredible pizza! Perhaps the best vegan pizza I have had in Bristol. Portions are great too. I'm sat writing this review after finishing off my leftovers. Don't be put off by the price - it's absolutely worth it! Everything on the menu can be made vegan.

Our server Francesca was very friendly, attentive, and informative. I recommend eating upstairs as there are a few more options and a more formal setting.

The building deserves a mention too. It's beautiful with a lot of history and character. I really loved all the vintage Bristol Old Vic and Bristol Hippodrome posters downstairs too.

So many good things to say. Will definitely be back for more.

Ordered: Bull in the Heather Detroit-style Pizza (comes with buratta cheese) and a Leave Me Here Detroit-style Pizza (comes with some of the best vegan pepperoni I've had) as well as a couple of glasses of white wine and...

The NY pizza slices are okay, I think it‘s a good deal for the price. I would‘ve thought of them better but after a NY slice I tried the Detroit style pizza and it was incredible, so so so good. I haven‘t experienced a pizza like that before or after visiting this place. It‘s pricey, but if you share it with someone I think it‘s very much worth to try at least once. The toppings were simple, but it just shows that good quality ingredients don‘t provide a lot in quality while not being a lot in quantity. The dough was incredible, it‘s rare that I enjoy the dough as an aspect of the pizza so much as I tend to focus on the toppings, but it feels like here a good dough alone provides so much to the eating pleasure. Thanks for helping me discover Detroit style pizza, it was a love...

Honestly so mediocre. We’d been wanting to try this place for ages but it was so disappointing. The Detroit pizza was ok but £25 (?!) is extortionate for 4 slices of average pizza. The sides (polenta fries, green salad, corn ribs) all tasted cheap and a bit underwhelming for the price. The actual restaurant was busy and had good atmosphere, though there was a short dark hair on my napkin when we arrived, a large white stain on the chair, and a couple of flies consistently around the table. We had 50% off the food through the booking site but even that was too much to pay for the...

Deliciooooous Detroit style pizza served upstairs at Renatos. Even though each pizza is 'only' 4 slices, they are decadent and we couldn't finish it all (luckily they gave us a box to take home our leftovers). Definitely get a dip as they are so good for dipping the cheesy crust of the pizza into! 🍕 FYI - They only serve Vegetarian and Vegan options. We really liked the meat-free pepperoni and hot honey pizza. Friendly service and a nice vibe! 4 stars as it is pretty expensive compared to other pizza options in Bristol.

A unique selection of Detroit style pizzas, all delicious and made fresh by Pizza is Lovely at Renato’s. Definitely worth visiting while they serve here! The staff and service was also very friendly and attentive. A small note to add, is that this was the only time we couldn’t finish our desserts as the Tiramisu and Mousse were vegan and unfortunately they weren’t close to our taste buds. If you are a dessert fan and not vegan, I would recommend having something from Bristol city centre.
