Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Bury

Well, at Costa Coffee, they mainly serve coffee ☕! 😳

Which, I must admit, took me aback a little, as I had guessed, from the name of the establishment, it to be a purveyor of glass hammers, left-handed screwdrivers, inflatable dartboards, motorcycle ashtrays, chocolate teapots, rubber nails & long weights. Etc.

However, they also serve a range of patisseries and slightly hot sandwiches (a hot savoury filling in a breadcake) such as toasted cheese, toasted cheese and plastic ham & other such wondrous delights!

My time at Starbucks - 13 hours in total was, at times, slightly uncomfortable as I think I may have been in the wrong attire - my pink in colour leotard certainly acquired much attention with numerous stares in my direction.

At the end of the day, (00:00) I was required to vacate the establishment as they insisted that they had closed at 22:00 and wished to return to their homes & partners.

Eventually, around 01:00, I was chased from the premises by workers wielding dirty, filthy mops!

I threw shiny pennies after myself which seemed to distract the blood-lusting mob and I made good my escape.

Overall I had a wonderful time at 'Costa Coffee' and I will visit again soon.

If you want a tuna and spinach buttie be my guest coffee is always nice but I preferred the original Tesco cafe.... they would not allow me to eat my meal deal I bought from Tesco however bought the good coffee from Costa a couple of them and they violently threw me out just for eating a proper sandwich whilst I drank my coffee 10 or so year since that incident and I've never visited a Costa since then.... think twice a week getting a large coffee every time for 10 year...

I took my 90 year old Dad shopping yesterday as he's had to give up driving. I was amazed when he suggested going for a coffee, it turns out he's a regular here and the staff not only knew him - they knew his order and took time to interact with Dad even though it was very busy.

I didn't catch the gentleman's name but he had a bread and was excellent. Such a heart warming experience to know that people still take time to interact with the elderly.
