Short story about the place: I first saw the place about 2 weeks ago. As it’s situated next to the popular brand “Costa” I never thaught itms going to be as good as it is. “Never judge a book by its cover!” I got in after a good meal at Zi’s piri piri and got a Latte with Mokarabia: The forst impression was :” am I in a Disney Movie? “ the place reminded me about Alice in Wonderland, small and very cosy, just like home. A nice lady as Alice and a fresh smell of wood and coffe ( two of my favorites ). I had a look in the menu and as my favorite coffee mix is Latte I quickly decided what to have. I expected quality since the place looked nice and quality is what I got: The coffee’s taste was more than I expected and even more than what Costa can offer to it’s customers:( 5 Blends use more than just ready made Coffe) You have a fantastic window view to everything from outside and a small tissue box with small and cute napkins next to you: sugar and other stuff that matters for a fussy customer. The ambient is very friendly , I have to admit that I was the only customer in but there were people getting take away coffees. By ambient I mean music, tension and the energy that the place has. Very positive experience about this place! Will definetily be one of my favorites in no time :) . By the way : The downstairs seating area is a super big plus for groups or couples ! Edit: Coffee is a bit prices up, like 25p more. ( actual price 2,75£ ) for a medium drink.

I visited 5 Blend Coffee and the coffee was amazing. I had a latte and it was the best latte I ever had. They have 5 different blends and I tried number three which was really good. Mohammed the barista was very helpful and helped me choose the right blend for my taste. I will give 5 out of 5

What a great find! An unassuming place on Mill Road but it’s got everything - great coffee (even the decaf), delicious cakes/sweet treats, extra seating tucked away downstairs (which also displays artwork for sale) and a nice friendly barista. Well worth a try.

I am not sure where Pekka and Stephanie went, but I visit this coffee house nearly daily and have never had a bitter coffee and the food is better than most where you buy just a quick toastie. No, it's not a restaurant, and this is quick food for those of us who don't always have time to eat, but the quality is great and the coffee is FANTASTIC (I recommend blend 5 - good and strong with a LOVELY finish). It has a really nice atmosphere, downstairs has art and the loo is clean... I'm not sure what more people could want? I look forward to my morning visit, and I HIGHLY suggest this little gem. Also, the prices...

Lovely little Independent coffee shop, good choice of coffee. You can actually taste the coffee rather than the usual hot milk and no flavour you get from Costa etc. Nice selection of cakes and sandwiches/panini's as well.

The shop itself feels really cosy and welcoming, there's also a quirky downstairs seating area displaying local artists artwork.

Overall I would rather support an independent shop like this than go to a chain especially being...
