One of my favourite places in Cambridge. I've been here many times, it's become my 'retreat'!
On a sunny summer's day, there's no better way to spend an hour or so than sitting in their big coffee garden in the back, sipping a Freddo Cappuccino with a spanakopita, hearing people around you laughing and talking, while listening to chilled beats on their sound system. There's a real vibe about the place - it really feels like a slice of Mediterranean life in Cambridge.
I'm working my way around their extensive selection of pastries but my favourites are the portokalopita (orange cake) and the spanakopita (feta and spinach pie). The former is very sweet and syrupy - so you'll need a sweet tooth, and maybe someone to share with! The latter has become my favourite pick-up lunch on a Sunday afternoon: baked on site (I think), super flaky with loads of filling and loads of crunchy texture.
Staff have always been friendly and efficient. Prices are extremely reasonable too - probably the best value bite for lunch in the area.
Trust me, come and sit in the garden when the sun is out - as I am while writing this - and see how long it takes you to start searching for flights. âïž

The staff seemed arrogant and treated customers like a burden, which really impacted the overall experience.
The biggest disappointment came with the pastries. Despite looking appealing in the display and expensive, they were far from fresh. The tiramisu was a disasterâhard and unpleasant, with a tough sponge and rubbery, acidic cream. My girlfriend ended up with stomach pain after eating it, while I avoided eating my cone because the pastry was so stale and the cream was oddly rubbery and sour.
Overall, it was a complete waste of money. Even though the pastries looked good, I would strongly advise against...

It's so nice to see different styles on the streets.
The pastries were fresh come out from the oven when we arrived. Still hot when delivered to our table.
I wondered if they would heat their pastries in case the customers ask. I always want my pastries hot.
There were different styles of pastries, from savoury to sweet. Probably would take a while to try all of them.
There were a lot of packed products too, but I have no idea how good are they. They look interesting and attractive. But you know, the packs are a bit large, what if they are not good enough?
So it's going to be a 'yes' when you ask me if I will...
