I have to say...this is the best noodle and Xiao Long Bao restaurant that I’ve went to so far.
It’s a small store with limited seats, and they serve each table’s order one by one, making a long-waited queue no matter outside or even seated at tables. But you can see how it worth when people are still coming during dining time and willing to wait
I ordered a glass of warm soyamilk with half sugar, which was completely a rescue on a windy and freezing night. Savouries are very outstanding. Beef brisket noodle soup is good, with the brisket cooked perfectly to chew out. The Wonton soup is my favorite, where the juicy and stuffy mixture of pork and vegetables are covered by transparent skin, soaking in the salty soup. The juice just exploded in your mouth when you took a bite.
Xiao Long Bao is the must-try. It is slightly bigger than what’s in an usual restaurant, but I don’t think it’s any less than wonderful.
I personally think the skin of dumpling is too thick, I can somehow taste the flavor of flour. And it could be even better if the soup (generally) can be less salty. But overall I still consider it a very highly-rated restaurant.

Read moreNoodles+, The + stands for amazing SOUP DUMPLINGS, dumplings and hospitality. I am not a big fan of fried dumplings, this one is just perfect steamed and just fried at the bottom, which I loved it. The first dumpling I could feel a lot of flavours, usually it just tastes like pork, not this one, this is a whole new level, certainly the best in Cambridge. Now for the soup dumplings, or Xiao long Bao, this is not easy to find, the price is totally fair, and it is just as awesome as it should be, the waiter explained with the love it deserves, how to eat this amazing food, it's an experience, and you should try it. PS: Sorry I ate before remembering to take a picture, will come back for more and update :). Edit: As promised, went back, adding new photos and some more information, I usually eat fried dumplings as whole but I was curious about it's flavour so I cut it open to see it inside, you can clearly SEE the flavour in there, this ain't your default dumplings, this is a whole different ball game, a new level....
Read moreIf my friend asks me about this restaurant, I’ll say, “Forget it. Find alternative authentic Chinese restaurant.” One of the worst restaurant experiences in my life.
After around 1 hr 30 mins waiting in the restaurant, we could be served the ordered food finally. The taste was so-so level, but waiting for 1 hr 30mins at the table was such a bad and unpleasant experience. We spent almost 3 hrs in this place for only lunch with an exhausted feeling.
I would instead choose another restaurant and spend my time at a more worthy. The owner seems like they don’t care about improving the quality of service or their customers’ asset; time. Nobody wants to spend worthless time never, only waiting for food that long.
Also, they don’t take debit or credit cards, ONLY CASH which means for what? I don’t believe the people who aren’t transparent or honest to customers/ tax issues, so this is also a no-no.
To sum up, This restaurant is at a very out-of-the-ordinary level. Never visit...
