2 Coming back with a friend for some Lebanese dishes :) The Arayess is a new favorite. Lovely grilled flatbread with sourced minced lamb. Hummus is smooth and aromatic. Borek is cute and tasty with tahini, but it doesn’t seem to contain much feta. I’m also trying the Foul Mudamas for the first time— it is very filling as a starter and also more lemony than expected. Sea bass is as beautiful as the one I had last time. Tender and juicy under the crispy grilled skin. Chicken Shawarma also tastes good. The deserts are of course heavenly. The Ma’amoul has a delightful fig/date filling. One of the baklawas have a special creamy/milky taste. Absolutely love the music playlist <3 —— A homely corner to escape to the land of tasty food and hospitality. Service is attentive and organized, and meals arrives super fast and despite our large group. Lentil soup is warmly spiced, a great start for Iftar. Somehow lamb shank wasn’t mentioned among the recommended lamb dishes (mixed, kofta, meshwi, signature) 🤔. I was 100% planning to get meat but ordered the “fresh-from-the-day” grilled fish instead. It was awesome indeed. 🐟 A whole fish, not a fillet as in many European restaurants. The skin is beautifully charred and crispy; and the flesh is not dried out. The charcoal grilling level is exemplified here, more than the meat dishes perhaps. (And maybe that’s why they are more proud of grills than stews.) I had been regretting not staying longer for the fish restaurant in old Jaffa last summer. Now I don’t have to think about that anymore. 😌 Cambridge is not close to the sea, but you can trust the Lebanese restaurant for handling fish. Instantly transported me to the warm Eastern Mediterranean coast. Rice is aromatic and fluffy. It’s hard to not finish the huge plate. The Lebanese salad is refreshing, especially toward the bottom where all the lemon juice goes. Perhaps I can ask for a less oil option. Znoud El Sit is not too sweet, and the cream filling is soft and slightly bouncy. Ramadan Kareem :)

Put briefly: unhygienic and raw food. Caused food poisoning. Ordered takeaway from this restaurant yesterday night. Reviews seemed good so I didn’t think much of it. Bought myself fattoush, lentil soup and lamb kofta. On the app, as I was waiting for a driver to pick up my order, my order at the restaurant was “wrapping up.” My food was fully prepared before Uber Eats even selected me a driver (within less than 5 minutes, not even McDonald’s is that fast.. ) Should’ve known that was the first red flag. Food comes and it’s cold. As I was eating the fattoush, I found a strange hair within the vegetables. I was grossed out so I gave the soup a try. Firstly, the soup looked like it’s been watered down, minimal flavour, off smell. Didn’t feel very good about it so I ate the lamb wrap. The lamb was PINK. One cardinal rule of serving lamb and mutton is to make sure it’s cooked thoroughly. 2 hours after the meal I started sweating and vomiting profusely for the entire night. I know it was caused by the restaurant not only because of the pink undercooked lamb but because I hadn’t eaten a meal prior for the day. Health shouldn’t be messed with, especially careless handle of food that people are paying for.

I loved my experience at Kan Zaman, it's a lovely authentic Lebanese restaurant with excellent food. I ordered a simple yet enjoyable meal of chicken shawarma, chips and a gorgeous Greek style salad with a freshly squeezed orange ,ginger and carrot juice and finished it off with a plate of balaclava and every part of that meal was beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and so well seasoned, let me say that homemade chilli sauce was pure delight. All ingredients were fresh, the salad was crispy and had pomegranate seeds in it and one of the best, creamy feta cheese I have ever tasted. Service was excellent and the restaurant itself is lovely and airy with plenty of comfortable seating, above all it's very reasonably priced. I enjoyed the whole experience and wholeheartedly recommended this place.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a beautifully renovated interior that feels both cozy and inviting. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or celebrating a special occasion, the ambiance there is perfect. Food is exceptional – every dish is bursting with authentic Middle Eastern flavors. The grilled baby chicken and also the Mixed Grill are cooked to perfection.

The service is just as outstanding as the food. The staff are professional, attentive, and genuinely eager to make your dining experience memorable.

One of the highlights of Kan Zaman is their fantastic shisha lounge. It’s the ideal spot to relax after a meal or watching your favourite match while having your shisha, offering a wide variety of high-quality shisha flavors in a cozy and laid-back setting.

Kan Zaman truly offers a dining experience that’s second to none in Cambridge. If you’re looking for top-notch food, exceptional service, and a cozy atmosphere, this is the place to go! Highly...
