Visited here last week and was sadly Really disappointed. After reading such great reviews we were excited to visit this restaurant while staying in Cambridge. Tried to order a paella with our tapas and was told it would be to much we said it was fine that we were happy to with this as wanted to try it, the staff member then got another staff member to come and tell us the same thing. This then just made it awkward to try and order as we kept asking and kept getting told no.
We ordered the meatballs, they came out cold, we had these sent back and they came back out clearly from the microwave with the sauce then burnt around the edges of the plate. Spanish omelette we did not enjoy at all.
We then thought we would have a dessert, we order a creme brûlée to share, it was awful, not set at all and was just water.
Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed and...
Read moreReally nice tapas bar/restaurant! I’m very careful when I come to ordering any octopus dish cause you don’t always get best quality food. But I have to honestly say octopus was really good quality. So was every dish we had. All the dishes we had were full of flavour, perfect temperature. We tried the house wine which was really good as well. The service we received was the same quality as the food! Top notch 👌🏾 Though the restaurant did kind of get a bit loud later towards the night but that’s expected since it’s a tapas bar/restaurant setting. Also our reservation was only for one and a half hours which we were worried about that would be enough but we stayed for about two hours due to cancellation so that worked out for us. Two hours is more realistic time to dine and enjoy the food instead of a quick...

The paella negra tastes good. Savory but not too salty. Rice is plump and al dente. I can finish the whole pan if I don’t think about carbs. The downside— there are only small pieces of calamari inside.
The mushroom croquettes are lovely. Creamy but not heavy at all. There’s even a hint of truffle flavor. I ate three of them :P
The scallops may be slightly undercooked. Generously seasoned with salt, they taste good initially with some natural sweetness but feels a bit cold and too tender in the center. Also as the last one keeps sitting there while the two of us are being polite, it turns a little fishy.
Maybe next time we’ll skip the paella to save room for some different dishes.
The restaurant appears quite busy on Sunday evenings so make...
