Smokehouse hosted a large business dinner for me (20 guests). They were quite accommodating with their schedule about 10 days from the desired date. Communication was easy as it was through email. Service throughout the meal was decent, and the food was adequate. However, with the large size of the party, there were issues. Our party was promised four tables, but at the event's start, the host claimed that "someone" from the business (not me as the event planner) phoned the establishment an hour from dinner and canceled two seats. The host canceled an entire 7-person table for two people who allegedly called on the business's behalf. Unfortunately, the host couldn't provide information about who they spoke to and canceled our table. This was entirely inappropriate as all communication was done via email and the host gave many evasive excuses as to why we lost the fourth table. This left our party with three tables of 5, seating 20 people. Simply doing math, we were short five seats. We insisted they provide the fourth table, which was in the business arrangement, and paid for with a deposit. The host reluctantly provided the fourth table by putting together two smaller tables and scattering our entire party across the restaurant. After getting settled and eating our meals, the waitstaff was quite rude and ushered our party out at the two-hour mark despite losing 30-45 minutes settling appropriate seating. This place was terrible. The most overpriced and tasteless food ever. The first thing we experienced when we walked in was the greeting of strong cigarette smell on the chap who welcomed us. When we were sat down all we could hear throughout the entire time we were there was the whining bar staff using foul language every other word and trying thier absolute best to flirt with drunk customers. They had run out of a lot of the menu and drinks and the food came staggered and not as we asked. The prices are ridiculously high and the quality of the food shockingly low. Our meal was tasteless boring and served on some strange tray which just kept spinning around as you try and cut your food. The whole place is an utter shambles and you pay a lot of money for it. In the end we had to complain about the disgusting behaviour of the bar staff and the lady who took our complaint apologised for it. Nonetheless the whole experience was bad. We came out feeling a bit ill from what we ate and seriously unrelaxed and disgruntled. My partner later ended up in A&E with severe stomach pains after the meal. Do not go here you...

Came here today (Monday 19th Feb) with my mate. We were drinking outside (both 18) before entering and I left my beer bottle on the window ledge waiting for my mate to finish his before putting it in a bin. The barman came outside in an unprofessional, clearly angry manner and told me ‘his window ledge is no place to leave my bottle’ where obviously I am going to put it in a bin due to going inside after. When entering, my mate and I walk in and he shouts at us saying that we shouldn’t be drinking outside and claiming that he can call the police on us for not carrying id when purchasing alcohol at the bar was not what we wanted. Darts was good fun but the bartender (long black hair male) very much ruined the experience and I shall not be returning as a result of this. Food was decent but nothing special. Would recommend going to the Slingers Smokehouse but do not if you’re planning on going on a Monday when this rude, ignorant gentleman is working. Really let us down, and will...
