Worst meal ever in Cambridge. Decided to stop in after our train journey before going home so that we wouldn’t have to deal with cooking. Place was not crowded and servers were friendly, but it took a full half-hour before our food arrived (that’s with no appetizers). My husband ordered Fish-n-Chips with haddock. It was not good, almost tough. The mushy peas were the most disgusting shade of dark green, probably the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen served on a plate. I ordered the roast chicken - it came out with one small (think pigeon-sized) leg and two small bits of dark meat chicken. I’m not talking small slices, I literally mean 2 small little bits. It was so unacceptable that I asked the server to take it back and give me an actual serving of chicken. But c’mon, the fact that I even had to ask!! Finally got a few more pieces of white meat. The gravy that came with was so salty that I was still tasting it several hours later, even after brushing my teeth several times. We ordered a side of broccoli and cheese, it was broccoli served in what I could only describe as cheese-colored water. No melt or texture at all. Obviously there was zero quality control coming from the kitchen. I rarely bother with a review but this meal was so bad, they should have paid US for getting through it. Wish we had just stopped at one of the many food trucks outside of the station and gotten a meal to take home instead.
