Firstly, this is a place born out a passion for food and a love of people. You're made sooooo welcome upon arrival, it's almost like being invited into someone's home.
Secondly, the food is really good. It's homely, tasty and unique (at least to Carlisle).
Thirdly, the price, you will not get a meal like this anywhere else for the price she charges.
If I had one criticism, it would be the sheer amount of food. It's all lovely and very clear that it's been made with love, but sometimes (just sometimes) less is more! With that said, I don't think she would be offended if you asked for a doggy bag 😆

We then proceeded to gently miander our way through the most fabulous meal, eating numerous things that were new to us alongside some familiar favourites, but everything was extremely tasty and the love and care that was put into every morsel of food was obvious.
