Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Charnwood

This is the worst Costa I have ever visited. I have been there a number of times now and the service is shocking. There are trays and empty glasses/mugs left everywhere. I have cleared my own table every time that I have visited. As for the food and drinks, it is overpriced and overrated made by hungover students who could not care less about the service they are providing for minimum wage. I have had a number of disgusting drinks from the store (and I am not using this word lightly). Save yourself the time and hassle and visit the Cafe Nero about 10m away! You receive far better service and the quality of products blows Costa out the water.

Visited for the first time 16th January,very disappointing,felt invisible as the 3 counter staff were talking,ordered a latter,again had to listen to staff discussing how many times they'd had covid,counter full of used trays. Sat at the very front,small table two seats,floor filthy full of crumbs,chairs were so worn and dirty stains. Cold day so staff member opened the door,to bring through the premises 4 large wheelie bins,then proceeded to clean them right outside the window. Shocking everything. Hot chocolates cold, food is over priced, service is horrendous, the staff don't care about service, most of the time chatting. Have staff socials which includes bringing 5 McDonald's in and stinking the place out whilst shouting. Food is seven late and even one time, waited 20 minutes for food to find it had been left under the grill for 20 minutes, came to give it to me (by the time was charcoal black) and asked if I wanted another one lol, oh yeah they always drop food too, go to cafe Nero, I like it there, much more better than Costa and...
