Update from last evening(2Aug23): After a long time of not visiting, yesterday felt right to do it, a weekday, not too busy. It reveals to be the worse idea ever. Never got served a "wooden" chicken plater before, although we tried to dig in the very hard and dry chicken. It was like chewing "sugar cane without the juice" if you know what that means. By the time we got a waiter and then reached a manager, all sides were cold. The duty manager offered us half a chicken (as they did not have any other choices at that time). So, we got half a decent chicken (not whole like in the original full platter order) to eat with leftover sides cold chips. Needless to say that we asked for a take away box, and took the chicken away with us and went home to get some warm airfryer oven chips to go with it. Therefore, until we forget this latest eating out experience "Not Nandos" is on the blacklisted ban again.
It's Nando's...depending on how busy the branch is, the quality varies. It was edible and decent, as we people are...some days better than others... from almost edible to really nice...this time was in the middle...and sadly...no olive oil to season our salad (it was not supplied on request, as there were no more bottles available - according to our table assistant). Toilets (male) in need of some tlc maintenance, after the 3rd time visit and the middle hand wash sensor faucet was still broken - maybe...
Read morewhere do i begin. me and two other friends came in one evening, we all ordered online and all was fine, the issue was with the lack of service and care.
i had ordered my meal first, yet the other two orders arrived first, fine, i get that it can take time for these things. the second friend to get their food however was deeply apologised too for how there food was late. whilst i still had neither my food nor drink.
cut to about 30 minutes post ordering, i can see what i believe is my meal sitting on the hot serve area, chips are missing but im at least hopeful that my food has not been forgotten. chips are put on 5 minutes later, great, my food is ready, right?
nope, the people at the counter are busy stacking glass cups in a pyramid and all the people waitering are just walking past my meal. i can see the food is ready, it only took 10 minutes for someone on their break to overhear my conversation and ask if im missing my food, i told him its been sitting there for about 15 minutes. they brought it over , no apologies or nothing.

Read moreOrdered a chicken wrap with medium heat sauce dish came and as I started eating it realised that the sauce was not medium but hot..complained to a young lad who worked there who apologised and asked if I wanted a different one..I declined but accepted his offer of a desert..in the meantime a young Asian girl came over and asked what was wrong so told her to which she claimed my dish was correct and wouldn't get a dessert..she said the medium sauce is hotter in a wrap than what it is on flat chicken 🤔...anyway she then started having a go at my father in law simply because he asked if I could get a refund and said she didn't like his attitude..so he replied and said he didn't like hers and asked to see the manager..he came out and basically backed her up and then offered me a free voucher...I'm now going to try tomato sauce on chips and on a bacon sandwich to see if it's more tomatoey on either one using her logic 🤔won't...
