Pizza 45 — Restaurant in Chelmsford

So, almost a year later and we misguidedly continued going there. Last night we were told that the pizza will be 45 minutes - an hour. An hour and a quarter later , we phone up for them tell us it just came out of the oven and will be here in 5 minutes. Half an hour later and, surprise surprise, still no pizza. We phone up again, for them to tell us that the pizza is now on it's way. We stated that this wasn't really good enough and wanted a discount, to which the man on the phone, quite aggressively, responded that we'd been going there for years and this is the first time that this has happened. We have been going for there for 6 years and the review that is being edited is evidence that this is not the first time (When this review is only one out of several occasions). Just under two hours, it turned up. When we refused, the delivery driver called the shop and they offered us a £5 discount - when a discount of any sort had been refused initially. They clearly do not appreciate customer loyalty (as stated in the original review) and are arrogant that they will continue receiving your custom, regardless of how they treat you. Well this time, we really will not be going back. The fact that the person on the phone would respond with dishonesty, hostility and rudeness, when they are the ones who have messed up, is massively unappreciated. It just adds insult to injury and we are quite frankly disgusted by their, so called, "Customer service". Avoid avoid avoid. Original review was 2 stars, it has now been edited to 1.

Over an hour and the pizza hadn't arrived. Called to inquire about where the pizza was, they said the driver only just left now to avoid traffic (when surely doing this would make them just as late, if not later, than if they'd cooked as soon as I'd placed the order and got stuck in traffic...?) And they did not advise me that this was the plan during the initial phone call to place the order. When it did arrive, the Pepperoni pizza only had around 3 pieces of Pepperoni on each slice and the delivery driver was burping on the front door step! Not the service you pay for.

We've been customers here for 5 years and they've always tried to get away with messing things up, which seemed to have subsided over the last year or so, but it seems that recently they have reverted back to their old ways. There really is no appreciation for loyal customers and it seems they are trying to test how much their customers are willing to put up with. Only rating it as high as 2 stars because the pizza is, when it's good, delicious. As for the service,...

tbh i would give it zero stars if i could, the food was dreadful, first of all the pizza tasted like cardboard, over cooked yet cold and had about 4 slices of each meat over the whole pizza, the chicken tasted undercooked pinkish and as though they had bought from a stall on the high street, the pizza looked reheated and dough had seem as though it had been cooked ages ago and left to dry and become stale , the WORST pizza delivery do not buy from here, i rang up to complain and couldn't get hold of the manager until 6pm and i ordered the pizza for 2;30pm . NOT IMPRESSED! GO TO DOMINOS instead guarantee THE BEST PIZZA...

Made our order, they called back and left a voicemail to say they didn’t have the dessert and would be sending mini donuts instead, tried to call back to change but no answer. Food arrives, there is a slice of pizza missing?! Call them back and explain and ask if they could send a new one and we would swap it, to be told it’s not possible and that the driver is a trusted full time employee so it wouldn’t happen, offered to send a picture but then was told our address is too far away to redeliver again. Then to top it off, the mini donuts that were sent were frozen solid....
