Paparrito's — Restaurant in Cheltenham

Eaten in before and always been impressed with it. You get the fast food benefit but without so much guilt associated with going to McDonald's or Subway. So decided to order it through Deliveroo. Food came and only a small part of the order had been delivered most of it had been forgotten. Call restaurant she says she already recognised what had happened and had sent the rest of the stuff. At this stage our food we already have is now going cold. About 30 mins goes by and still the stuff has not arrived (baring in mind the restaurant is less that a mile away and originally the food was to be delivered in 15 minutes). Call restaurant again say food now gone cold and asked them to send new burritos and side orders as well which she said they would. Over 20 minutes pass and I still haven't heard anything or had any items delivered. Call Deliveroo who then resubmit the whole order. After some more waiting it finally comes- over an hour after the original delivery. The food was then pretty average- there was a bit of plastic in my burrito, the roasted peppers hadn't been de-seeded properly and the food just generally wasn't amazing. Would probably eat in again but wouldn't be in a rush to order from them through Deliveroo again! Seems they can't...

This place has everything you want for a little town like Cheltenham. It's inside is so authentic and is the cutest little spot for a first date. It's almost like a Japanese street food vibe, expect the fact it is Mexican food... Of course. The food is great for all cultures and people of certain allergies or have a preference in certain type of food from: Chicken, beef, beans, vegetables, basically anything you would associate with a burrito. The drink choices also fill all shoes with a special Mexican choice of drink with variety if different flavours and also your basic drinks in case you aren't feeling the jazz. Service is also key with places and can also be the case of that one missing star. Whereas, here it is not. I most recently went with my girlfriend who can be very shy in some social aspects and usually I will say to the person serving what she would like to order. However, the person who's name I didn't get unfortunately get made her feel comfortable enough to say what she would like and it ultimately the reason I believe this place gets five stars based on the fact it's a cute little Mexican...

We are ALWAYS ordering from Paparritos as they're one of very few places to have vegetarian options that are actually enjoyable. We'd recently heard from someone that mega burritos were now available and obviously wanted to test each other.

My partner, who has learning difficulties, decided to try going in on his own today. I had texted him the order and spoke it to him but he still found himself a little stuck.

These lovely ladies in the store took the time to HELP him. Not shame him. Not embarrass him. Not do it for him. Not baby him. But genuinely HELP him. This is something that never in the 20 odd years of me knowing him let alone in the 7 years of us being in a relationship have we seen.

No store has ever helped him like that before. They usually just point to me and say "isn't that what you're for" or other times they'll fully discriminate/shame him infront of us and to his face.

He called me as soon as he left and said how lovely you both were to him and asked me to write a review for you!
