First impressions count and they failed. Waiting outside whilst they decide if going to open, enter and the focus is the setting up for takeaway orders, someone still doing food prep, waitress coughing and spluttering at another table and owners family eating lunch. Nobody seems interested in diners it’s all about the takeaway service. Tables set with cutlery, sorry for me it’s chopsticks first and then cutlery is an option, are you a Chinese restaurant or an English one doing Chinese food? The duck was dry and overcooked, their homemade hoisin was odd. Noodles were good as was the salt pork ribs but Wowzers was it all over priced and they charged me for the takeaway containers for my leftovers. Do they charge customers ordering takeaway for the containers I wonder? The young lad working there was great, attentive and polite. Decide if want to focus on takeaway or dine in or at least make your dine in customers feel special so they want to come back. I most...

We arrived and what we believe was a little rude in the way he first spoke to us. It wasn't very busy there were 3 couples dining when we got there. My partner ordered shredded beef with plain rice.... what came out was shredded batter without the beef.... it was tough and not edible. The rice seemed reheated...... I ordered some lamb thing with spicy vegetables and egg fried prawns..... what came out was rubber lamb drowning in brown tasteless sauce and crunchy veg. The rice was again stir fried with an egg and sprinkled with 6 unclean prawns as garnish. The food came out after ordering about 4 mins later. So it definitely was taken out a microwave. The only positive was the young lady who cleared our table away, she seemed polite and was courteous to the customers..... If we come back to Chichester we won't come back here. Food wasnt cooked...

We ordered from Confucius tonight, and the service was deeply frustrating. The original delivery estimate was 45 minutes, which seemed reasonable. However, when the food was 20 minutes late, we called the restaurant and were told the driver was on the way. Ten minutes later, still no food, so we called again and were assured the driver was "just around the corner" and that the food wouldn’t be cold.

After waiting nearly two hours, the food finally arrived, and it was completely cold. We called the restaurant immediately to complain, but instead of an apology, our call was transferred without explanation. When we finally spoke to someone, they offered to make it up to us on our next order, but when I brought up the fact that our current meal was cold, they hung up on us. The whole experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional....

Have popped in here, after booking, to eat before 2 events held in Chichester cathedral. Booking was an early booking. This place is located down a side road off of South Street. Had starter & main on both occasions. Service was quick & food came quick too. Had crispy duck in pancakes which I haven't had in an age, it was delicious. This place feels like the Chinese restaurant I used to go to decades ago, a real family run Chinese, the kitchen door is open & you can hear the constant chatter of the chef, which adds to the authentic experience. 2 of us attended on each occasion, we arrived at 5.30pm, had soft drinks & 2 courses, were ready to go by 6.50pm, both times costs roughly £50 in total. Lovely little restaurant.

Been to this restaurant a couple of times so thought it was time to do a review. The restaurant is not the best decorated but don't let that put you off at all. The owner is always welcoming in fact all his family are as they all work in the restaurant from the kitchen to front of house. The food is just amazing from starters to maim courses. The sauces that are used in the various dishes are all home made. Lovely cold Chinese beer and perfectly chilled wine are also served promptly when requested. Then the bill comes which is really reasonable so along with the great food I keep coming back for.

This was the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. After spending £61, we only received two skewers of prawn satay. The curry was incredibly watery, and everything else was dry and overcooked. I also asked for a menu, as we were new customers, but never received one. The food was overpriced and of very poor quality. I definitely won’t be ordering from here again.
