Visited this branch on 03/06/25 for a breakfast. I knew some costas let dogs in so I brought my really timid whippet. The blonde woman who served me was fantastic, she said hello to my dog which put my dog at ease, she offered me water for the dog and brought my toast and drink over to me as she seen i was struggling to get my very anxious dog to walk. Best service I've recieved in a costa, will definitely be back

Its a very enjoyable Costa Coffee store. Silent never too overcrowded and you will feel relaxed. The coffee tastes good too.

Lovely hot latte, had bacon sausage & egg wrap as no bacon or sausage rolls left 😥, OK but too much wrap. Maureen had cheese & tomato toastie & coke she enjoyed it. I like this costa been few times before ,nice atmosphere and furniture lay out inside and staff always pleasant, only problem I will say is that both Maureen & myself both wear hearing aids and difficult to hear staff talking through their mask, even though I said we wore hearing aids and found it hard to hear them, they didn't speak up ! Though that is a problem in most places, it's harder to hear people's voices clearly with a mask on. Sorry one more point to add ,I have bad asthma but I always wear a shield as I find it hard to breathe through a mask, I have bought a few adaptions to help it stop misting up some better than others and find no problem wearing it as I feel I am protecting other people from my germs and protecting myself from others.i think if you can't wear a mask then you must wear a shield and I think the infection rate would definitely have been lower and less hospital admissions and less deaths ! THE RULE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IF YOU CANT WEAR A MASK YOU MUST WEAR A SHIELD, ANYONE WHO GENUINELY COULDN'T SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PRODUCE EVIDENCE ! PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW YOU COULD PICK UP AN EXEMPTION TO NOT HAVING TO WEAR A MASK AT TESCO & OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS FOR FREE AND NOT HAVING TO SHOW ANY EVIDENCE OF WHY NOT. I KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE THIS AND THERE IS NOT A THING WRONG WITH THEM, SO THEY ARE WALKING ABOUT POSSIBLY SPREADING COVID KILLING PEOPLE OR LEAVING THEM ILL WITH LONG COVID JUST BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT OR CANT BE BOTHERED WEARING A MASK ! MAKES ME ANGRY. IF WEARING A MASK SAVES ONE LIFE...

This particular Costa branch is one of the few Costa's that I find fairly pleasurable to suit and enjoy my coffee. It can be busy at peek time's, although it's directly next to greggs due there's competition on the doorstep . I most enjoy sitting in the outdoor seating where smoking is permitted. There are usually ashtrays on the tables, if not they supply one, just ask inside at the til. I find majority of the times I've been in here the staff have been very friendly and more than helpful. Although I'm by far not a regular customer, I've probably not even visited it 10 times in its existence. So there's been the odd occasion ther staff have been unhelpful or rude, the staff have been different every time for me. The reason I've not visited here more time's is purely due to the location. It is not the most accessible...

Very clean and tidy but confusion over the app making it a bit stressful. Large sign with QR code and number at the door which I completed, as I always do, whilst waiting. I was asked by lady behind the counter to prove to her that I had done this and that it should be on my browser. I couldn't find it. She again said she needed proof so I said I would do it again, she said if I had already done it, it would be there. I wish I hadn't bothered going in. Things are stressful enough. Perhaps they should remove the QR sign on the window or have someone advise customers at the door as they do at the Straiton branch. Would have had a 4 star...
