We found this cute café by accident on the first day of our 5-day vacation, and we immediately decided that we would return to this spot! Eventually, we had breakfast there several times, and each day we were positively surprised. It is clear that the owners, Louis and Graig, know how to run a café very well, and they offer a great variety of drinks, toast, pancakes, pastries, croissants, sandwiches, yoghurt and English breakfast rolls. And everything is freshly made! I would argue that the meals are definitely worth its price, and maybe even more than that. It is a small café and its interior is minimalistic, yet cosy. Haymarket by L&G is by far the best place around on West End/Haymarket to start your day with, or to get a good lunch! Finally, I would like to thank Louis and Graig for their hospitality and their genuine kindness! If we ever return to Edinburgh, we will surely come visit...

This is my first time in Edinburgh and it was such a lovely surprise to have come across this quaint little hole in the wall. We were randomly in search of food and were called by the decadent and moist Ube cake. I have had ube cake before, but not like this. I would definitely recommend anyone to try with the risk of being addicted. Their Mango Smoothie was also a highlight. The taste reminds me of tropical mangoes without the sugar overload. Also, the presentation was on point. If you want food with the looks and taste, you have come to the right café. The staff were really friendly as well. Since we were not sure as to what to order, they patiently gave us suggestions off the menu based on what their usual customers order. Definitely a 10/10 and would be coming back with...

This cafe is amazing! We had some sausage rolls and a BLT, the baps used were very high quality, the BLT very customisable and I was told it was “delightful”, and the salad it came with had pomegranate which is a personal favourite of mine.

However, the stars of the show are the ube and pandan cakes. They gave me an indescribable feeling of joy when I ate them. I thought that the icing would be a buttercream, sickly sweet and a bit grainy but NO! It was a much higher quality icing that complimented the cake beautifully and was delicious! Make sure you come within a few hours of opening because they seem to sell fast. And if it’s not your thing, they have a great cheesecake. Thank you so much to the staff for a...

I visited cafe in the late morning on Saturday July 6th and it was filled in with people. We came with a dog so they helped us by taking us to the back of the cafe. Food was exceptional, my toast with creamy cheese and salmon was literally evaporating on my tongue. I’ve enjoyed every bite. Waitress was very friendly and chatty so we didn’t feel left behind (considering where we sat). For a dessert I took the green cake- don’t remember the name but was delicious 😋 Parking is around the corner, 2 min walk and costs ÂŁ6 per hour (you need to have a change). Place has vegetarian options and it’s pet/child friendly â˜ș Since this visit I recommend everyone I know to pop in when in Edinburgh đŸ€© This is new MUST VISIT when in Edinburgh x
