Fast food fast attitude. I would suggest that before you eat at this restaurant you have a healthy attitude. After arriving and being backed up by the older head waitress I was finally sitting at a table. After ordering lunch I’ll start as arrived. The main course plates were then save warm and by the time the main course arrived plates were cold. My friend ordered chicken and cashew nuts and couldn’t eat it because they made a rod garlic just dumped on it and the chilies haven’t even been cleaned Which led to the river for most bonding instead of enjoying a chicken cung po meal. After we mentioned to the young lad who cleared the table and was about to bring suite is in very uninterested and couldn’t care less when the bill arrived again we questioned him regarding the main course do you which she replied it’s not really my problem I only watch here and sometimes that – can be hot. I also highlighted that in my chicken chow mien The chicken was that to a non-existent. The desk consisted of additional of noodles with three slices then slices of peppers three or four slices of onion and some beansprouts and I counted five small steps of chicken in what was supposedly a main course during lunchtime service. It’s a restaurant we certainly won’t be eating out again which is such a shame after having been there before and it was absolutely beautiful. I am disabled I need to Set at a table not too far from the restrooms. This seemed a problem for the older women who really seemed as if she shouldn’t of bothered coming to work. According to her every table was booked which was a lie after we spoke to the clients who came in afterwards and sat at the three tables one of which we wish to set up before we were very rudely told these were reserved. We did say we were going to review the restaurant and the staff couldn’t have cared less. I would suggest that you look elsewhere for a good Italy instead of eating at this fast food what fast...
Read moreI think this place is nicer for locals. As a tourist it's not special enough for a night out. The decor is a bit run down, the tables were covered with planks of wood with a cloth over the top, meaning for a large party of 6 sat in a corner we were unable to move the table nor lean on it. Not world ending but still. The food was OK, I think it lacked seasoning which may arise from the fact the food is pre cooked and not made to order. Meaning the food came out within 5 mins of placing an order but the battered chicken in lemon sauce (more like a soup...! And not tasting of lemon in any way) was soggy from sitting in the kitchen for so long.
The main idea (I can only guess) is to order a large amount of food, put it on the lazy Susan in the middle and everyone shares. We didn't do this as we were eating with others who had diverse food preferences. So when the food came out it was quickly put on the table by the server with no direction as to what was what and that was it. It was a guessing game from there - case in point, the lemon chicken wasn't touched until all the food had come as it was not obvious that's what it was (what lemon chicken comes in an orange soup-like liquid?!)
Servers seemed a little impatient and not very helpful but it was very very busy and noisy. I was stressed by the time I had left, I couldn't imagine what it would be like if I had to listen to it all night, so I do sympathise.
All in all.. it wasn't bad but I wouldn't go again and wouldn't recommend tourists come here for a special night out. Leave it for the locals who know what...
Read moreWe, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience here. We came for our one year wedding anniversary with high hopes as we love to explore higher end Chinese restaurants. The service was beyond below average. Unfriendly. Unwelcoming.Unprofessional. Never once did any staff ask how the food was…appetizers nor main. My wine and my husbands beer was finished after the appetizers and not once were we asked if we want another drink nor even offered water. The special chow mein was horribly dry. Pork and beef like leather. No taste to the noodles. The lemon chicken was not lemony at all and like soup. Breaded king prawns was lacklustre and sauce out of a bottle. Liquid-y sweet and sour pork with no depth of flavour. The server didn’t even bring the cucumber, spring onions and hoisin for the duck starter. We voiced our opinion in a respectable way and wasn’t offered any apologies nor discount of any kind…not that a discount was what we were seeking but it just showed the level of care…piss! Obviously we will not spend our money...
