A summary experience of 2 visits: mid March and mid April. Both me, and my partner in gourmet adventures love ordering a mix of starters and deep fried stuff.. So we went for the Times Square Big Share a set of the Fridays Wings, Cheese & Maple Bacon Loaded Skins and Mozzarella Dippers. Though suggested to be shared by 4 the portions are far from American standards.. not just for this set, the portions in general are surprisingly small. My menu favorite: the Fridays Legendary Glaze that they serve with chicken strips or wings..it’s addictive. Second time we again ordered a selection of starters. And unfortunately except the chicken strips (the GLAZE) the rest wasn’t impressive, Mac and Cheese was the blandest. Cheese & Maple Bacon Loaded Fries were quite regular fries with sprinkles of bacon and sauces with nothing tasting maple-y.. Cocktails deserve special attention though 🍹 I was surprised by a really varied selection.. Quite a few curious options and very nice presentation. They taste quite pleasant though hardly any alcohol recognizable. I really enjoyed Bubblegum Daiquiri for the fun presentation with popping candy and slightly chemical bubble gum taste.. Barnamint Baileys - second favorite- desert in a glass..that tastes like After Eight chocolate.. Speaking of deserts: we shared the Salted Caramel & Chocolate Brownie Sundae..it was..intense. Seriously sweet but very indulgent. It’s super busy and hectic during the weekend and quite relaxed during the week. The prices are high for the portion size and quality. But they always have deals running during the week, which makes the visit overall worth it. Weekdays cocktail offer is great if you want to experiment with their favorites, without breaking the bank. I would also recommend to download the app for further special offers. I quite liked the atmosphere, though the food wasn’t particularly impressive I will probably be back to experiment further with cocktails and deserts.

Really enjoyed our meal here this evening. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating to my dietary requirements. The food was delicious. We had chicken and flat bread for starters, salad, steak & ribs and a chocolate cake for dessert. I was a little disappointed that the birthday dessert wirh candle that was promised when I signed in for our 8.30pm reservation was never brought to the table even though I added notes to online reservation and told the person showing us table. So I guess if this is something you really want you will need to be sure to tell your personal waiter. They tables were cleaned down properly after use. The lady's lavatory was clean & there were a few + cubicles. To get to them you have to go up the spiral staircase (there is a wheelchair access loo downstairs though) The interior was fabulous, lots of famous photos etc (see photos for a few) For me the downside was the music was a little loud for my taste. I am slowly loosing my hearing so hard floors with loud ambiance doesn't help with communication etc. The place is in a lovely area, you can see Edinburgh castle on your left as you enter.

I went for my birthday dinner and had the best time! We originally booked a table for 7pm and ended up being around about an hour earlier so we thought we would have to wait awhile. Once we were in, we told them about that and the waitress at the door said it wasn't a problem and they'd get a table for us soon. We waited 5 minutes and a table was ready for us. Our waitress for the night was fantastic. She was so lovely. Our food arrived really quickly and tasted amazing. I mentioned to the waitress it was my birthday and awhile later she came to my table with cake and sang Happy birthday (to my embarrassment but hey, free cake!) Can't recommend TGI Fridays Edinburgh enough. Thanks so much for helping making my birthday special 😁

We booked a table for Saturday night 7pm through Google then downloaded the TGI...Stripes app as they offer free dessert for each download as they copy code, so that was an extra bonus. We had the chocolate brownies with ice cream it was rich and delicious. Edinburgh TGI was really big, busy, pumping good tunes, chatter and ambient lighting. Table sizes for many sized groups. Staff were so obliging and on the ball. Food was delicious I had steak cooked to perfection. Nach sharing were spot on. They sang happy birthday to my friend with a slice of cake and lit with candle. Recommend a meal here as felt relaxed but maybe that was the cocktails.

Food is quite good and ambiance really cool, but service a bit poor like forgot to bring my cool drink, the food was luke warn when it arrived and I ordered the most expensive item on the menu and they could not get the meat right, asked for rare to medium rare, but got medium rare to well done - no juice inside and small cut of meat. I checked our neighbouring tables plate ordered the same + his steak was considerably larger. Then to top this all off, we found a hair in my sons half ribs he ordered. The manager offered to replace (but the whole party was put off after the hair incident) + compensated him with a free desert.

Nunca gostei desse restsurante nos EUA, mas aqui amei muito. A batata estava maravilhosa. Sequinha e crocante. Temperinho bom! Comeria mais! O frango crocante, saboroso e sequinho. O hamburgue muito bom. Bom atendimento. Voltarei na primeira oportunidade. Obrigada pela deliciosa refeição🙏🏻
