The clock cafe can be really busy with an hour wait sometimes on a Saturday lunchtime for example. However, at other times the service can be pretty quick, approximately 20 mins. Depending on your order of course. Generally the waitresses are foreign. At times it can be difficult to know for certain that they have understood you and your order correctly. The layout of the place isn't great when you walk in the door it's very cramped. I'd say if it qualified as wheelchair friendly it would be at an absolute push. Plus the toilets are downstairs. It's not particularly clear, that not only is there a ladies and gents separate toilet, but which one is male or female. There's no mobile signal for anybody's network I know. You can't take calls sitting downstairs or receive texts. Which I understand it's underground level on Dalry Road. The food is incredibly tasty though I've certainly never been satisfied with the food. Othervtgan at times the wait. I've not ordered food for sometime now due to the time wait. It may hav changed. I doubt it though as the hour wait every Saturday lunchtime went on for sometime. Owner...
Read moreDon't ever bring Gordon Ramsay here. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but the food at this place must have seriously gone downhill.

My friend got the French Toast (how do you screw up French Toast?). By making it so sweet he couldn't finish it. He's not a picky guy.
My plate came with fries which were tasteless. I normally don't waste food but could not stomach the disappointment.
Only redeeming feature was a flat white for £3.00.
Please take an honest look at your food and reevaluate the ingredients and...
Read moreThis is an incredibly cozy place with a wonderful atmosphere! The coffee here is absolutely fantastic. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and I am telling not only about their professionalism but also about their humanity and kindness, because I want to express my deepest gratitude to the incredibly kind, responsible, and stunningly beautiful girl Hannah, who found me on Facebook and returned my handbag I had forgotten in the cafe. I enjoyed breakfast at this cafe and spent every morning here while I was in Edinburgh. I especially loved the cappuccino – it's soft and velvety, with a harmonious combination of espresso and milk foam, and the desserts are incredibly delicious. I will definitely be back and recommend this place...
