came across the fox and faun after getting off the tram. Had been in the bar when it AU bar and had good times. So thought I give it a go under the new owner's. We got off to a shaky start. After sitting for about 20 minutes and no one taking my order I was getting ready to leave when the angel Cheryl came to my rescue. Took my food and drink order. Well I had the Haddock Goujons in Schiehallion beer battered with the triple cooked chips.( More like massive potato wedges) The battered haddock was amazing so light that it was all most like tempura batter. And we'll worth the money. After my meal I sat back to relax with a few more drinks. Even in this crazy times we find ourselves this bar was a dream. Even with the social distance between tables we were still able to talk to each other. I was having a great night when things got even better once again my the angel came to my rescue I was looking for a drink not on the cocktail list but like magic Cheryl was able to get me it so what started as a wet Friday turn it to a Great Friday. Went in a 8pm came out at midnight. Guy's do give this place a try. And bare in mind that staff are busy and that they are giving us great service in these crazy times. A LOT OF OTHER BARS AND CHAIN PUBS SHOULD LEARN FROM THE FOX AND FAUN. Keep up the...

I've been going to this bar for a year now on a regular basis. I've never had more exceptional service anywhere I've been in the world. The staff has become amazing friends through the past year, and I've never felt more safe going out drinking.

Their cocktails are amazing, my personal favorite is the drunken faun. The salted caramel white russian is the perfect dessert after a nice dinner. The food is absolutely glorious. I used to work at the Sheraton and in my opinion, the fox and faun has way better food. They have amazing vegeterian dishes as well.

The bar is clean and beautiful. I've never been in a bar with cleaner bathrooms! The bar is stylish and well decorated. They have a really cool dog wall where regulars can pay to have their dogs on the wall. I personally have two up there. The bar is also super dogfriendly! So bring your best friend and treat them to a puppoccino!

This place deserves the best. I even tell my uber drivers to go there. So if you're looking for a bar to go to, this is the best.

In short, the food is to die for, the staff are amazing and the decor beautiful.

Sorry for no photos, would take me too long to go through them all and choose which ones to pick. There's...

This place was super hit and miss. Ambiance was okay, the back looked nice but the front part we were in was a bit awkward. The servers were super friendly, quick and nice service. A decent selection of drinks, but 2 out of 5 mock tails were not available and they brought me a random one I didn’t order without asking me (but it was still good). The food was the most disappointing part. The good: halloumi and hummus were good, Mac and cheese was decent, sweet potato fries fine. The cake for the sticky toffee pudding was great, but the sauce was cheap and just warmed caramel sundae sauce that was way too sweet and not caramelised. It ruined the whole dessert. Bad: buffalo cauliflower had thick, mushy coating and hard cauliflower. Not crispy at all. Really bad: fish n chips. The fish had completely soft, soggy batter, no crisp to it at all, and about half the chips were undercooked. Worst: the burger patty was literally a disc of beef mush. One bite and we left it on the plate. Clearly a frozen, nasty thing. It may be worth a stop for small plates and drinks, but the entrees were just...

This is a Great pub, they greeted us, we told them, if we were drinking or not, they gave us waters, and took our orders. Bar bites is the best way to go to get three items for £17. We ordered 2 orders of Haggis Bon bons (4 each order), and one order of Salt and pepper wings, and a side order of nachos. Haggis was delicious, had never had it before. When we had mentioned it at our hotel, our customer service representative has told us, this was the best place to see if we liked Haggis, she recommended The Fox and Faun, stated she loved the bon bons. So, if you want to try it, or find a choice of good appetizers, I would recommend this place. The food, I saw being brought out to other tables, looked equally as good. There is a small patio to eat on, lots of booth seating.Staff was great, and kept checking on us.

Some of the best bar food I've had in Scotland! The haggis balls were super tasty! The poutine was really good with wedges. The fish and chips were delicious and perfectly cooked! The beef burger was impossible to put down. It was very flavorful and juicy. The cocktails were excellent with great selection. The staff were very knowledgeable and the other patrons were great to talk with! The only thing that was negative was when they turned off pink floyd mid song to put on AC/DC which is obviously blasphemous. But otherwise, a great bar and restaurant that I look forward to visiting again!

If you're in the West End, first of all, congratulations, but also stop in here for a pint! It's a great local pub a little away from the main tourist destinations so you'll get fair prices and friendly service. They do a lot of trivia if you're into that scene as well. I recommend the Mac 'n' Cheese and the pie! Both were delicious with a pint of Caledonian. Also just a bit of advice -- order at the bar if you're hungry. It can get busy and the service may struggle to make it to your table in a reasonable time. Other than that, highly recommend this for anyone in the area!
