Went to Knead to try their beautiful pastries and it did not disappoint!
Me and My friend shared an almond/caramel pain au chocolat, a strawberry crumble Croissant and a sausage roll. Everything was flavoursome but the strawberry croissant was a bit too soggy to my liking. The coffees were fine.
The bakery itself is tiny and offer plenty of options! 🥰 Be aware it can get busy but they have a few covered seats on the outside.
The staff were lovely and knowledgeable about their products. Service was fast and efficient. 🙌🏻
I will be back next time I am in Cirencester to try something else, their focaccia...

My main disappointment is how open everything is - no coverings over cake and salads. During the lockdown and pandemic I feel a little perturbed by this, particularly when seeing little kids running and around and touching all the cakes (even trying to lick one but thankfully caught by his Mum)
Coffee is from extract roasters from what I can see - but it's not the best. Hey the specialise in cake so wasn't expecting much...

As someone who is exempt from wearing a mask, I was asked where my 'exemption badge' is (NOT A LEGAL REQUIREMENT), and was asked to wait at the door to be served instead - I felt like a pariah, or as if I should have a Star of David on my lapel. This is medical discrimination and was really quite embarrassing and insensitive. Naturally, I walked out and took my custom elsewhere. People who are illegally enforcing this sort of treatment of a particular group of people are helping usher in an era where people are segregated when they go shopping....
