The ambience is excellent as it boasts one of the oldest cafe in Cirencester and got a good refurbishment. But sadly the staffs seem not as very welcoming, first time I experienced it, I shrugged it off as it might one of those bad days. So I still went back and even invited my friends, but yet same lady seem not very happy one. So I gave another chance another day, but got even worst, the lady who just cleared someone else’s table bringing the tray to their kitchen tell on my mom who is standing with my baby on the side that not even blocking her way said mind your back with her eyebrows raised and face seem not very happy. So it all ruined for me and not wanna go back here anymore. In terms of food options, Full English breakfast is really good, and bacon sandwich, but not as pleased as their lunch menu, that might need some work as it feels like I’m eating breakfast again or just veggies. The cakes are lovely and the drinks as well. Might consider this cafe only when I have no other choice, as the whole relaxing experience I wanted is always ruined by unwelcoming staffs. There’s one guy there at least seem to briefly smiles but maybe he gets dragged on by the other ladies attitude.

Very nice cafe. Great service and staffs were really friendly. Although this was just a quick stop, definitely will go back there to try out their other food on the menu.

Really lovely coffee shop in the heart of ciren with a courtyard garden to enjoy the sun. We had a lovely lunch - nice to see a few vegans options 🌱 I ordered the falafel, hummus and red pepper sandwich (which was lovely, lots of filling!), but one of the salads looked suspiciously non-vegan. When I asked, the salad indeed wasn't vegan friendly so I'd recommend double-checking or making it clear if you don't consume animal products. It was probably just a small slip up though but always good to check. Would recommend the falafel sandwich 🄪 Apparently the bacon and brie toasted ciabatta was delish šŸ¤ŒšŸ¼ Also, great that they're dog friendly šŸ•

We’ve visited a few times before and returned today. Ordered a BLT, sausage sandwich, one tea and a large cappuccino. The food came relatively quickly despite being busy and was very nice. However we waited for our drinks to arrive for a few minutes but then decided to start eating before it got cold. Upon finishing our sandwiches we still hadn’t received our drinks so I went downstairs and politely asked them f our drinks had been forgotten, easily done when busy, and had the feeling that the older gentleman serving (the owner perhaps) didn’t really believe me. I assured him that we hadn’t received them and he agreed to have them sent up. Eventually a member of staff arrived to clear the table. We again reminded her (as she took just the two food plates and no cups away) we were still waiting and she said she would remind them downstairs. Finally after almost an hour in the cafe without a drink we decided to give up and leave. As we passed the till I told the ā€œownerā€ not to bother with our drinks as we were leaving. He looked most miffed and pointed to a tray on the counter as if to say the drinks were just coming. No thanks, too little too late. As I said the food was good, but Ā£27 for two sandwiches (this is what we paid for food and the drinks which never arrived) means that we won’t be returning. I don’t do bad reviews. But the poor attitude I experienced today left...

Absolutely appalling service if there was an option for zero stars I would give it. Upon being served freezing cold pancakes i told the waitress who apologised and took the pancakes away. To our disappointed we were given the same pancakes again that had just been stuck in the microwave. We asked for refund after this and the waitress seamed happy to adhere. Overhearing a conversation between her and the chef was bad customer service as the chef stated loudly that they are not having a refund. After this we were greeted by the chef who said I've been told your pancakes were cold but I checked them myself I explained that our pancakes were freezing cold and that we don't expect to pay £25 bill for microwaved food. Her response was they come frozen and that's the only way they can be served. We got our refund in the end but never in my life have I met such a rude member of staff. How embarrassing to start a dispute infront of customers. Plus why would anyone want re heated pancakes for that price it's not hard...
