Fried Chicken Express — Restaurant in Coventry

This restaurant used to be great, I’m unsure if there has been a change in ownership or management. But both service and food quality has gone down significantly. As a place that is called fried chicken express. You’d think they will know how to cook one. I was disappointed to find it was dry and overcooked. No flavour balance and small portion sizes compared to my previous visits. To be quite frank the chicken was probably older than myself. I was also told rudely by staff that I had to pay for sauces, that’s absolutely ridiculous when I needed it to compensate for the lack of flavour. Ordered from them on Just eat, on Just eat they have a delivery charge of £1.00 which is sensible. After I placed the order they phoned me to tell me that they will be adding an additional charge onto the delivery price that was already stated and then tried to blame just eat for there stupidity. First visit here not following any covid guidelines no mask from any staff. Asked if the chicken is fresh as you know fried chicken if sat to long gets all dry and hard. He said why you are asking. If I am spending money I have a right to know he knew I knew what I was talking about and said this will not be any good for you and walked away. Makes you wonder how long the chicken had sat there walked away...
