In summary, 90s cheese such as "barbie girl" and "S-club party" repeated every week. Doormen will bare-faced lie, insult and film you without your permission. After cueing an hour to get inside, massively overcrowded/sweaty and young - the worst DJ/playlists ever. One girl that was thrown out with extreme force for being too drunk was said to be 15... says allot about the place and owners really!

The bouncers are rude, and cant wait for an excuse to be violent (notice several news articles about these guys afflicting - particularly smaller, and in some cases female students/teenagers - with near fatal injuries, and permanent facial scars/abnormalities) Really violent, ignorant, creepy men. They will also film, taunt and take pictures of you without your permission on their personal mobiles. Some very odd/suspicious behaviour presented by the doormen around girls - especially when they're not asking much younger, underdressed looking girls for ID on entry.

A scruffy pakistani/indian man called 'Rex' appears to have some authority over the bouncers (short overweight asian bloke with a clipboard). Rex will often lie and make excuses for his team's voilent behaviour so be sure to no be fooled when he makes sleazy flirty gestures - as he will make sure him and his team keep their comfy little jobs where they can feed their ego by being creepy old men - or violent bullies who have and continue to cause serious injury towards students of a weaker build in order to feed their ego - whilst bigger groups or students and larger males get escorted out with much more care. * *Once i witnessed a drunk girl being dragged down the stairs backwards by a bouncer - she struggled t prevent her head clapping off each step as she was dragged down the flight.

Kasbah don't give a toss about students or the nightlife of Coventry, all they want to do is eliminate any competition, and carrying on peddling cheesy nights fuelled by serving the cheapest alcohol at cheap prices. Kasbah have contributed to restricting students and other young people to only being able to attend nights centred around £1 shots, and getting absolutely paralytic to unbearable music - in an unbearable crowd. Coventry already had a limited nightlife and its getting worse! (Rehab - now closed, Careys - now closed)

Please by all means attend this club if this is what you enjoy, but the rest of us want to listen to music we enjoy, maybe even a go to a club with a 'line up' (an alien term when referring to a Kasbah night), and be proud of our university's nightlife... please dont go out of your...

Considering this place has only recently discovered the invention of paying with card you know its going to be an interesting one. I really think this place would benefit from having a ticket system like every other club. Waiting 45 minutes in the queue is absurd and undeniably not worth it especially when you get in and the place is still empty. Also only body searching the boys has got to be one of the stupidest and most pointless things I've ever seen. The music is alright but the amount of effort you have to go through to get in there is not worth it. Also inconsistent pricing on drinks is rude and unfair. Once again, just treat your customers with some respect.

Made the stupid decision to go back again. Got there and there was no queue (to the surprise of absolutely no one). But what's irked me is a photo booth that doesn't print the 5 quid worth of pictures you've just paid for. 'Yeah it does that but its not up to us'. Surely a logical person would think 'okay the photobooth doesnt print the pictures so we are wasting our customers money? Maybe we should be somewhat respectful and turn the photo booth off until this problem is resolved and not, just for once, be rude to our customers after charging them different prices depending on what bar they're in.' I genuinely can't get over how badly paying customers are treated at this place. An absolutely bizarre and horrific venue.

Appalling. Being a uni student who has been to many different clubs, this was the worst of all. Firstly, the prices of drinks are ridiculous. The bartenders charge different people different prices for the same drinks. My friend paid an extra £1.20 for the same drink I had also purchased. Secondly, the bouncers are disgusting. They are rude, don’t listen and have no care for the customers. A friend had reported to the bouncers that there was a man who had inappropriately touched her twice however they did not care and removed her from the club immediately for “causing drama”!!!! The bouncer was white, bald head maybe 40s… and the way he removed her was shocking. She was not drunk and conducted herself in an appropriate manner. He forcefully grabbed her arm and started to drag her out of the club, not even allowing her to say goodbye to her friends who were only a couple metres away. Then he pushed her out of the doors, where there were 2 other bouncers standing and didn’t react at all. All this for just trying to keep herself and others safe??!!!! A club myself and all of my friends will never be returning to… and I’d recommend people go to a different club if you want to have a half...
