Creams Coventry — Restaurant in Coventry

I am very disappointed with today's service in creams. First we have been waiting for our ice cream way too long, our child managed to eat all her banoffee with ice cream and we've been still waiting. When ice creams arrived, they were partially malted already, moreover came in glass, and we wanted them in a cone. When my wife said we ordered them in a cone and she asked why did we wait so long, we were told they will sort that out, so we were continue to waiting until my wife went to ask what's going on, and how long does it really take to put scoops in a cone? At the desk they didnt even know we were still waiting, when my wife asked for money back they eventually offered to put scoops in a cone which my wife accepted and wanted to clarify that all this argument wouldn't have to take place if we got our order on time even in the glass, but this wasnt the first time in creams that one person in the group gets their order firstt and the rest is waiting for as long as the first one actually finished theirs lol. The girl at the till would keep saying she is busy and she has no time to talk and so on.. she were ignoring my wife and were just asking what was our order even though she had our bill to hand but apparently couldn't read what was placed there by her colleague, which was ridiculous. When my wife told her that this is not nice being ignored she went like " im not ignoring you just tell me what scoops you want cuz i am busy" then my wife asked for manager and the girl nswered that they do not have any manager, however, when my wife did not let go the girl admitted they do have the manager but he is on holiday and she is a team leader herself but she has no time to talk to us. Overall this is the weirdest situation we have been through ever. We are very disappointed with creams customer service and they organisational skills, the owner should really invest to train their staff better, and should make sure that the people employed there, know the basics of...

Absolutely disgusting service. We ordered 2 wafles and 2 hot drinks on a quiet afternoon. After 20 minutes of waiting and looking at their staff chatting behind the counter I have asked one of the waiters if we could at least get our drinks. He mumbled something and walked away. 10 minutes later he brought one of the wafles. Still no drinks. 15 minutes passed, ice cream melted, waffle got cold... I've asked another waiter if we are going to receive the rest of our order. She apologised and sorted us the second wafle and the drinks in 5 minutes. She came back soon after and asked if everything was okay. I explained that one of the orders was already cold with liquid ice cream, but we are okay. She said "you should get some kind of compensation for this, I am so sorry". She went to speak to her manager, came back 2 minutes later and was very embarrassed. She said "would you like some water"? (Not that I expected any compensation, I just expected a good service to begin with...). Food tasted great though, but we won't be coming back for sure.

And to the manager on duty at the time (08.04.2022 at 16.30): you are lucky you have this lady in your team. You should be ashamed of yourself and learn from her brilliant customer service skills.

Great place for pudding!! Plenty of options for everyone including vegans!! Waffles, ice cream sundaes, pancakes, etc etc. Loads of ice cream options and loads of toppings and sauce options. For vegans try the vegan waffles, with a great selection of loads of tasty sorbets, loads of vegan toppings and vegan sauces. I had the waffles in the picture, I had a bite before I took the picture and had chocolate and lemon sorbet. The sorbet is banging, and surprisingly the lemon and chocolate went well together. The biscoff toppings and chocolate sauce was well sickly, but that's how I like it!!!! The pancakes in the picture have white chocolate shreads on, it does look like cheese, but was apparently really good. Milkshakes are expensive, but my kids loved them and said they were the best milkshakes they have ever had!!! The coffee is well nice too. I had a coffee and an extra double espresso. Good stuff. My partner had the Nachos, not the best for the price, I advice sticking to the puddings. Lots of tables, but book a table during busy times. Parking around the back for a short time, 2 hours I think. Not many spaces there though, but there is parking near by. Just outside Cov City Centre by Swanswell Park, so nice views if you get a window seat. Well...
