Platform 3 costa coffee doncaster railway station. 1pm ish saturday 23rd july 2016. Went to costa. Wanting to order a coffee and grab a bottle of water. I took the water from the fridge, and waited for what looked like the lady at the counter to finisj serving. There were 2 members of staff working in the booth. One on the till and one serving coffee an food. I went to hand the lady my water and then to order the coffee. The lady rudely snapped at me and said yes when i have finished serving! I looked at the other man who was serving the customer in front. The lady who was on the till was just having a convo with the lady who she was serving ( basically 2 people serving 1 person ) this person who they were serving was also a member of staff at the train station.!!!! I got made to wait for the lady on the till to finish her conversation before i could be served with my bottle of water i had no time to wait for them to do a coffee for me as my train was now due! Also the work colligue had her food and drink in her hands for over 3min before the till lady took my order which was now only a bottle of water! It made my blood boil! If i were a manager and noticed my staff making customers wait just so they could finish up a conversation id be putting disciplinary in place! I hope the manager or soneone of...

Nestled in the well-situated Herten Triangle, this Costa Coffee branch serves up more than just your standard cup of joe. Right off the bat, you're met with friendly staff who make you feel welcome, adding a personal touch to your caffeine fix.
The coffee itself is reliably good, meeting the standard that Costa Coffee has set over the years. That said, let's address the elephant in the room: the pricing. Yes, Costa, like many chain coffee shops, leans towards the pricier side. While you could arguably brew a decent cup at home for less, what you're really paying for is the experience and the convenience.
The location is quite ideal, making it a great stopover for those in the area. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee before work or catching up with friends, the atmosphere here contributes positively to your overall experience.
In conclusion, despite the premium pricing, this Costa Coffee branch delivers where it counts: quality coffee, excellent service, and a great location. These elements combine to make it deserving of a four-star rating. It's a place where the pros outweigh the cons, particularly if you're not too bothered...
Read moreThe coffee itself is okay, even quite good if you're careful to select the right drink, but the service is always slow. The Lakeside location, the one that is actually a part of the Lakeside shops, the layout is a disaster so when you are waiting in the queue to order, you're having to shout your drink over people because of the cramped space and crazy noise levels. On top of that, once you've ordered, it's now time to stand in some imaginary queue which doesn't exist because of the layout so you stand with your backside in other people's faces, people who are sat down at their tables trying to enjoy their "peaceful" coffee experience. It's pure crazy and not an enjoyable experience at all. You leave feeling frustrated and wishing you'd have gone elsewhere for your coffee. Pastries are nice, always a good selection, however when flies start coming around in the warmer weather, this location doesn't seem to cover up the food which means you're taking a gamble at which little creature has been enjoying a rest on...
