I recently visited from Canada to the UK and was thoroughly impressed by the cake display at your establishment. The Oreo cookie dough and tropical chimney cake were standout desserts for me. The Oreo cookie dough was indulgent and rich, offering a delightful twist on a classic favorite. The tropical chimney cake, with its unique flavor and presentation, was a refreshing and memorable treat. Both desserts were expertly crafted and added a special touch to my visit. Thank you for providing such exceptional treats!

Its quite pricey although tastey, we were £65. The kids waffle is great and was really nice. The cinnabites definitely needed more cinnamon. The cookie dough and chocolate sundae was lovely. Chocolate bar milkshakes are lovely and so was the mango smoothie. We originally visited here in 2021 with my young daughters and brought them back before our next trip to france. Not an all the time place but definitely great for a treat. Staff were polite and the shop was clean.

What a lovely experience at Kaspa’s Dover today. There was 7 adults and 2 children in our group, we all ordered waffles&creeps and they came very speedy. The staff on today were very happy, friendly and helpful. Truly good customer service today. Our experience was so pleasant, unlike when we came here a year ago the staff were so happy rude to us and other workers. It’s been such a lovely visit today, the portions were generous and overall very satisfied.

It is abundantly clear that since the takeover of new owners and the manager leaving that this store has gone drastically downhill. The treatment of staff is awful, I wouldn’t wish working here on my worst enemy. When I visited the Dover Kaspa’s branch at the beginning of December, a young employee tried to let the older women and man that were both not in their uniform know that they had made a mistake with an order (which turned out to be mine!) and they literally shouted in her face telling her to not correct them because it’s their business and they know what their doing… but the young lady was right and they had indeed made not just one but two errors with my order, to which the woman not in uniform laughed in my face!! and outright told me I was the one that was wrong, despite what it reads on the menu, when I told her that there was indeed an error and the young lady was correct. The older women and man then spent the rest of the time I was there walking around on the floor and behind the counter texting and calling on their phones! How unprofessional! I later found out that these were the new owners! Ridiculous.

I decided that that may have just been a one off day and to give this store another chance, so headed back a few weeks later. Why, I will never know!!! There were even more new members of staff, who again, ignored the more experienced members of staff, despite them offering their help. I spoke to these staff members and asked why the other young lady was ignoring them, and they told me that they had apparently already received training in the Canterbury store, despite making orders wrong again!! (Looks like I’ll be steering clear of the Canterbury store too!). They also said that the owners had just been getting rid of all the old employees despite it breaching their contracts because ‘they did not like them and wanted to bring in who they wanted’, and at least 4 other members of staff who have always made my experience here incredibly enjoyable and gone above and beyond for me, had been fired for completely made up reasons! The new owners clearly do not know how to run a business (I have had experience myself for over 10 years, and treating your employees so poorly is not how it should be done!!). Not to mention how negatively this has been affecting their business and customer service too! The young members of staff are simply trying to make some money yet are met with this treatment by the owners who seem to only care about money and not the experience of both customers and staff.

Kaspa’s used to be one of my favourite places to go with both family and friends. It has ridiculously gone downhill in the last month or two and I drastically recommend not giving these people your hard earned money! The old manager Lucy and all the staff have always been a blessing but there’s no wonder barely any of them work there or no longer want to work there anymore with the treatment they receive. I will never step foot in this establishment again, and I urge others to do the same - places that blatantly mistreat and abuse their staff should not be supported and...

Today we ventured to Kaspas in Dover for my daughter's birthday treat, now if you know Dover and have been to visit before whether it be for the castle, the beach or even the new shopping complex you will know it's got a lot of character (take that comment as you will).

However one place that NEVER fails to impress is this establishment. Kaspas are all over the UK and most of the time you get caught into the glitter decals and lost in a sea of black and magenta that you don't really focus on much else (not including the desserts of course). But this place exceeds all levels of expectation in their customer service, the restaurant is always clean, honestly I have never walked into this particular branch and ever thought it was dirty. The staff, impeccable pride and passion for all that they do, the staff here could quite easily be the face of the company with the beaming smiles they always wear and their excellent manner in how they speak to you is just wonderful.

I always feel happy and comfortable to come here and it's a shame that some people will travel to the likes of Ashford or Canterbury when they could come here and be met with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and staff who will do anything to see their customers happy before departing.

The food is the same no matter what venue you visit so I cannot overly comment on this. It's still delicious and the perfect place for families on a little treat or for birthdays.

Overall this review was made mostly to the hard working staff who I see regularly doing anything they can to make their place of work a home for all its visitors. Thank you so much to all the hard working staff members and we shall see you...

I'm not one for writing negative reviews generally - but this is aimed at the management team (if there is one). First visit was when they where reasonably newly opened so we put a lot of things down to teething problems. Second visit, another birthday in the family, 3 of us are gluten free so it really is a treat to be able to have these indulgent deserts where we can eat safely... except that we can't really. Today, no gf cake except 1 piece of cheesecake (this is peak season weekend by the way). The 'background' music was again so loud the young girl couldn't concentrate at all on our order, so basically got it all wrong. Our GF deserts had wafers stuck in them - and despite there being 5 of us at the table including 2 little girls - only 4 deserts arrived. And (I know this will be hard to believe) - NO tea? - they actually had no ordinary tea - this despite being 2 minutes from a supermarket, the management hadn't organised some petty cash to get some teabags.. When the last of our deserts was chased up - it became apparent that the girl on the til hadn't actually told those that make up the deserts (there were at least 6 other staff) that the order was supposed to be gluten free? Hence the wafer - and the stomach aches etc etc etc.. The staff might be friendly enough but generally hapless, unprofessional and/or poorly trained - there doesn't seem to be anyone 'in charge' or with any air of responsibility - sad to say we won't be going back. And to anyone else who is gluten intolerant I'd say the place is...
