French & Day Delicatessen — Restaurant in East Hertfordshire

So happy we have this amazing place in Ware now. I come every week to try some new things. Everything is top quality. The people who work there are so passionate about their products, they describe flavours (if they tried it themselves) and tell you about where it produced (99% all local). Very kind, welcoming and approachable too. Cheeses and meats are very fresh, some things are sold out too quickly though! We also enjoy sousage rolls and spicy freshly made sauces, various sparkling drinks, green & black olives, etc.. Also despite great quality and central location - prices are actually very reasonable and affordable! Great addition to the highstreet with very creative approach...

I drop in here regularly to buy interesting and delicious foods. They have an ever growing range of meats and cheeses, all of which have been fantastic, tea, coffee and hot chocolate (am drinking the 70% cocoa as I write), a range of spirits, wines and soft drinks, biscuits, crisps and so many other things. They also have an expanding range of vegan products which we are going to be working through. The bread here is locally sourced and the products have been specifically chosen for their taste and quantity. Fantastic new local business that is definitely worth visiting, whatever you like or love to eat, open later than most places like this so I can still go...

During a visit to family for the weekend, we called in to this wonderful place on my bothers recommendation. We all sat and enjoyed a lovely glass of wine. Well, we decided which cheese to buy for later ? We we're spoilt for choice. This led on to crackers,wine, condiments, beer, and chocolates ! So much choice and great products ,some we hadn't seen before. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful , with great knowledge of every product . We will be back...
