Annabelle's — Restaurant in East Lindsey

We came to this cafe for our weekend away, at first, the staff were polite and served us in a timely manner. However, after 20 minutes that quickly changed. Our order got mixed up with another order, are table was sat inside, and the other outside, we had our order numbers out on display on the table. Clearly visible, yet we were spoken to rudely, and screamed at by the lady behind the counter, as they accused us of having the wrong orders, despite clearly having the right items on the table. They were extremely understaffed which is understandable for a small cafe and is respected, however it we was appulled by the treatment we experienced, especially with having a young child, sat down at the table, of 8 years old. Who witnessed the whole situation and felt extremely uncomfortable with it, we explained that we had the correct order numbers, but we got told they were too busy, and didn’t solve the problem. Needless to say, we was unimpressed with the experience, and probably won’t be...

Staff are nice and there are reasonable prices, been coming here for the past few years on holiday but the food has gotten worse as time has gone on, ordered an English breakfast and was given a plate of oil and fat. I expected there to be oil since that is expected at every café but when the oil is splashing all over me and is staining my clothes then that is unacceptable and I could not eat the toast due to it being soggy with grease. hygiene wasn't great, staff didnt cover their mouths when coughing and there were marks of previous food on the utensils.

Big shame that I have to give this café a low rating as it used to be a good...

The ladies that served us are credit to annabelles they were both so lovely and welcoming(thank you darlinn) aww really friendly - and the fry up i had the mega which done the job was up there with the best - will visit again when in the area the food and service was spot on keep up the good work just what you want when on a break a lovely breakfast and a smile and welcoming staff .....
