Truly Outstanding – The Kindest, Most Accommodating Staff

From the moment we walked in, we were met with warmth, patience, and genuine care. I’ve never experienced such thoughtful, child-friendly service anywhere. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our little ones felt comfortable, included, and even special.

And the food? Honestly, unforgettable. Every dish tasted fresh, homemade, and packed with flavor. The pasta was rich, comforting, and beautifully cooked — the kind you can tell was made with care, not just thrown together.

Nothing was too much trouble — from providing meals just the way we needed them, to engaging with the children in such a kind way that made them feel seen and welcome. They offered little extras without being asked (like paper and pens a friendly smile and hello at their level) that made a huge difference in our experience.

As a parent, it’s rare to feel completely at ease while out with young children, but that’s exactly what this team made possible. It felt like they truly understand what families need, and more than that, they cared enough to provide it.

Augustino in Louth serves the best pizza I’ve had anywhere in the UK. It’s genuinely authentic, and I honestly think you’d have to travel to Italy itself to find anything better. The quality, flavour, and freshness are just exceptional.

The staff are brilliant – super friendly and on the ball. I had a lovely chat with the lady owner before they moved to their new premises, and she was so warm and genuine , you can tell they put their heart into this place.

Their new location near the market square is perfect – central, easy to find, and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a welcoming, relaxed vibe.

I went yesterday and had their seafood pizza, with a little request to add anchovies – not only did they have them, but they happily added them without any fuss. The result? To die for. 💖

An absolute must if you’re in the area. We arrived this evening as a party of ten (four adults and a herd of children) and we are so glad we travelled there. The gentleman serving was also the chef for the evening and he juggled the task effortlessly. The wine he recommended was spot on, The food was incredible, but more so being able to watch him in the kitchen cooking it and the passion he put into it was second to non. We had a variety of dishes and each one was perfect, good size, excellent quality ingredients and fresh. I had the asparagus pasta and it was absolutely delicious with big chunks of crispy pork in it. The kids loved their pasta dishes and the cheesy garlic bread was the best we’ve had.
