Beach Walk Diner — Restaurant in East Lindsey

Well sadly if there was a 0 star option I would have chosen that. On entering our 2 year old went to collect a high chair which was not only broken but covered (and I mean COVERED) in food. My husband had to return to the caravan to get her pushchair so that she could atleast sit somewhere.

When ordering breakfast (with grumbling bellys) we were informed that they don't remove items from the plated option even if you say you do not wish to swap something. So......I asked for no tomatoes I got them.....all over my toast and every item on the plate. I had to scrape the runny liquid into a cup and then ask a member of staff to hand me a napkin so I could wipe down the food and plate. Sacrificing 1 piece of toast that was sadly beyond my rescue. The time it took to scrape and hand me a wipe it would have been easier to have just NOT PUT THEM ON MY PLATE!! I have never heard of this bizarre rule in my life. In order to remain balanced the sausages contained little to no gristle which was a pleasant surprise as I half expected there would be little meat. If this rating was purely on sausages alone then I would consider a 3 star rating however it is for the whole dining experience and for that reason alone. It's a 1 star (as I am not allowed to click 0).

A very disappointed, tomatoe filled, seaside visiting...

Myself and my other half come to beach walk diner on Tuesday 17th Sept. We ordered a chicken roast dinner and a ham and cheese panini. The diner had a few patrons in. Tables and surroundings clean. Went to counter and ordered and paid. Gentlemen came over to the table and advised had run out of chicken dinner would I like to have beef or pork or would I like a refund, opted for beef. However when dinner came out was a chicken dinner winner. Both our food was piping hot, when finished table was tidied and wasnt made to rush out. Didnt use facilities as wasnt required. Nice clean restaurant plenty of seating all round, wasn’t busy so social distance wasn’t an issue. Me and my partner ordered the fish and chips wasn’t waiting long. The food was nice but expected better the fish was perfect but the chips wasn’t that great they were thick cut chips like what you get from the super market freezer but was okay and the mushy peas were fine but didn’t come very hot. Also came on a blue and white paper which didn’t take long before it became soggy and started to tear while cutting fish ect. Kid’s meals were reasonably priced with a decent portion.
