Bibbys Beach Bar — Restaurant in East Lindsey

Just been into Bibby’s Bar and had an absolutely shocking experience. The so called “owner” needs to go and take some lessons on customer service. My little sister had gotten stuck in the customer toilets so she had asked a lady to go and get someone to bring some keys to get her out as she was panicking. For reference my little sister is 3 years old. He came over and started huffing and puffing at my mum, demanding that she is to wear shoes inside, which we understand and would’ve done no questions asked we just wanted him to get her out of the locked toilet. First of all he didn’t even know what key to use, he tried every key on the first bunch and then walked away, didn’t say a word to my mum who was now also panicking as it had now been 10 minutes. He returned with some more keys which worked. However a “sorry let me just grab some more keys” would’ve been nice instead of just walking away. Eventually she was let out of the toilet and he huffed again and just walked away. Didn’t even check that everything was okay. She then went upto complain about this issue to be told that she isn’t to come back upto the bar. His attitude is seriously disgusting. Today myself and my 5 year old daughter visited, unfortunately she stood on a rusty nail in the sand during our visit, which was an awful experience. She was distraught and I was panicking, as there was a lot of blood and tears.

I approached a young lady on the mini peer area across from this restaurant and asked for help. She acted immediately and went to get the first aider. Once the first aider arrived she was also very fast, polite and wonderful with my daughter! Keeping her distracted, and cleaning her foot perfectly. Not an inch of sand was left in her wound, and after a short trip to the doctors, we found out the wound was cleaned so well that they didn’t need to do anything with it.

I didn’t get her name, I wish I had, because she was WONDERFUL! She even gave my daughter a huge lolly to cheer her up and for being brave, which absolutely made her day!

Never had food, drinks were great, Jug of cocktails, £5 deposit for jug payable when you get it, but refunded when you take it back, great atmosphere with Bella on the Karaoke and the people who get there, great crowd no trouble, if anything starts they are quick to disperse it, they do a great wrist band for your children and it completely free, so use this facility if you have little ones, it's easy to track them, fireworks on a Saturday night through the summer always great to go and watch on the beach, along with your drinks, selections if food stations and the famous slush station, up a bit quite is the Reggae bar, and ice cream stall for the kids along with fish and chips stall, everything you need for your day or night at the beach, my only gripe is the lack of Public Bins, these are really needed to be situated along their beach area and a couple of dog bins wouldn't go amiss either, but all in all a fab time day or night or...
