On holiday in the area. Calling here for Sunday roast as looked like cosy, welcoming, dog friendly online, which it was indeed. Soo nice, just what we wanted. Owners so friendly and welcoming, got water for our dog without asking. Interacted with our baby making giggle and smile. Food didn't disappoint either, little bit of wait as big table in just before us. One of the best roast we've had out for a while! Highly recommend. All freshly cooked and super tasty. Great selection of veg with it. We paid extra for cauliflower and broccoli cheese we was yummy defo worth paying the extra. Delicious!! Wish this pub was where we lived!...

What a gem of a pub/restaurant. Fabulous food, the menu looks a bit limited, but the choices per dish are very good. Portions are also very good. We had Mac bites with homemade pineapple jam ( delicious) and the chicken bites for starters, lovely. Then we had the smothered chicken, wow! And the gammon, must be the best gammon had for a very long time 👍. The staff were lovely, couldn't do enough for you, the chef/owner allowed you to change the dish slightly to suit yourself! Wow.what an amazing find . Traditional smallish pub .a few tables in bar and some on the “snug” . Good choice of ales , beers and spirits . The most amazing food ! Small select menu with something different -jerk chicken , pineapple rice beans coleslaw and salad - the spices on the jerk chicken danced around my mouth with the tingle of the combination leaving a most lovely flavour . Burgers -meat and jerk chicken - big!!! So much flavour highly recommend both meals - I’m certain the rest of the menu excellent too . Well...
