Where do i start, firstly me and my partner arrived, to the stares like the gentlemen said in previous review, i ordered 2 toast which arrived very aneamic looking, i only asked for 2 but got half a loaf of aneamic bread, when i explained i only asked for 2 i was greated with "pretend its not there" by the waitres, as she started to remove slices from my plate, i must say for the price they charge day light robbery comes to mind, when we told the lady in charge we only ordered 2 toast she got very defensive and said in stroppy Tone i haven't charged you, Toilets lets not start with them very poorly kept for the price they over charge there customers they could at least by some toilet cleaner and perhaps buy a toaster that toasts your bread properly i would give less stars if i could seriously needs to go back to cooking school, more interested in ripping the public off and gossipping about...

We came in and found our own table as the wait staff stood in the corner chatting. Once we'd decided on what we wanted; after squeezing past the mothers meeting going on in the corner to get some menus; we paid. (May I add the family that came in after us were greeted, given menus and ordered from their table) The food came and was okay but definitely not worth the money for what we got as I've had better paninis/toasties for cheaper with accompanying salad & crisps. After leaving, my partner told me that she hadn't felt comfortable in the cafe as she felt weird stares from the wait staff every time they came our way. Lovely atmosphere, very busy (in a good way), great food and very friendly and attentive staff. I had the veggie full English and my partner who is vegan had avacado and vegan bacon on a toasted muffin with hash browns.

All of the food was cooked perfectly and the coffee was great - also the kitchen looked really clean. My poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The only constructive criticism I have is that all of the food could have done with more seasoning. However, they might have decided to let people season to their own taste as salt and pepper is provided on the tables. There is also Stokes tomato ketchup on the tables which is great because it’s the best.
