Doh Pizzeria — Restaurant in East Suffolk

A fabulous evening at Doh Pizzeria for their live DJ event in Saturday 15th June! We have been visiting Southwold regularly for nearly 20 years and loved this new experience in the town!

The cocktails were delicious and a welcome sight as cocktails are hard to find in the town. One member of our party never drinks cocktails and was entirely converted by Doh’s offerings!

There are sharing platters and salads available to start, we all enjoyed a meat and cheese sharing platter. There are various pizza toppings available to suit everyone’s taste. We all thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and will be highly recommending Doh Pizzeria to family and friends.

We also enjoyed the desserts, which were small portions of ice cream or ice cream sandwiches - just the perfect amount to cleanse the palate after pizza!

London DJ Ian Vale provided a fantastic set until close, creating the perfect atmosphere which left us feeling like we were in Ibiza rather than Suffolk! In all our visits to Southwold, we can’t remember ever experiencing music in any other venue and it was lovely to hear! The music was the right volume while enjoying our meal and we look forward to returning for more!

Throughout the evening all the staff were very welcoming and eager to help. The owner took the time to ask for feedback from all the customers, explain the history behind the business and how the concept came about in a friendly, appreciative manner.

We will be highly recommending Doh Pizzeria and wish them success as they bring an entirely new concept to Southwold

You simply must pay a visit to Doh in Southwold! Our recent experience there was absolutely top-notch, and it's quickly become our go-to spot for a proper pizza feast. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel incredibly welcome, and that fantastic atmosphere continued throughout our entire meal. The food, first and foremost, was utterly delicious. Every single pizza that passed by our table looked incredible, and the one we chose was truly faultless – perfectly cooked, with a wonderful crust and fresh, high-quality toppings. You could tell a lot of care goes into every single one. But let's talk about the Tiramisu – oh my goodness, it's an absolute must-have! Seriously, save some room because it's the perfect sweet ending to a magnificent meal. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. It was, without a doubt, second to none. All of the staff were super friendly and wonderfully talkative, making us feel completely comfortable and at ease. Our waitress, Wels, was particularly brilliant – attentive, cheerful, and genuinely keen to ensure we had a fantastic time. Very mixed experience. I have a nut allergy, which I told the very friendly lady who kindly accomodated us with no pre booking. She came over with a list of their dishes which noted allergens. Only one had nuts in? I also told the waitress when we ordered and she said she would tell the chef? Our pizzas arrived and looked delicious, I took a mouthful and as I was chewing noticed pesto all around my pizza, (I quickly spat it out and took antihistamines) I called the lady in charge over and asked about the pesto, she said she would check with the kitchen, she came back and proceeded to tell me that I should read an item she had googled on her phone, which said just because I am allergic to nuts I might not be allergic to the pine nuts which were in the pesto.she said 'so it's up to you if you eat it or not'. Gobsmacked doesn't cover it. I have no words and am completely traumatised by by the actions of the staff here. Do they not realise they are playing with...
