Gun Hill Beach Kiosk — Restaurant in East Suffolk

So me and my friends wanted a simple ice cream on the beach. After a 30m wait, we were finally served. The staff were quite obedient and rushing at first to order, but when I asked for the allergies, a simple thing they should have there, it took over a minute. Now then we ordered 2 Mr Whippy ice creams. It took ages. But not only this, once the first was complete, the man making it put the flake around half a centimetre in, so when I grabbed it. IT FELL OUT. Now I tried to complain, but he was already making the next one, and when that was done, HE GAVE IT TO ME AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE. If it wasn’t for me be extra cautious, the whole ice cream would have been on the floor, along with the flake. Now once it was sorted out, he was gone before I could raise the concerns, HE DISAPPEARED. Unfortunately I must have caught the woman on a bad day. I had no "hello" when I approached the kiosk .When I asked could I have an egg sandwich she sourly replied " does it need to be a sandwich?! ". (err yes please).. . When I got my latte, which was quite strong, I asked if she could please put a bit more milk in it to which she replied " I won't be able to fill it up much". (!) She grudgingly gave me some brown sauce when I asked for some, although she had asked another customer if they wanted some. Regular stop for coffee when we stay in Southwold, watching the world and their dogs walk by on the beach. Beware the iffy wifi- come prepared with cash in case the card machine doesn’t connect. Service was very slow on our visit outside of high season, staff were a bit stressed. Have been coming to Southwold for many years, and always stop off for a coffee, but for the past couple of years the service at the kiosk hasn’t been great, staff have been a bit offhand with customers and the seating has gradually got older...
