We went to suzies in August 2025 during the lovely weather. Queue up for 20 minutes to then see a tiny sign at the till saying cash only. Then walk all the way back to the beach hut to get cash. Then rejoin the queue. Then get back to the front of the queue to order 3 prawn sandwiches to be told no prawns. So then I guess the order for my friends as I’m not queuing for a third time. Order 3 fishfinger sandwiches to try their lovely bakery bread which is advertised on the board. Then sit down and wait for the food. While waiting I see the staff members carrying armfuls of Warburtons bread from Tesco’s into Suzies Cafe. Lovely, the fresh bakery bread that’s advertised is actually cheap nasty Warburtons. Having waited, watching, we decided that, as we only had an hour and a half that we couldn't be sure we would get food and drinks in the time we had and went elsewhere.. A sad first impression the family had...

Yes it is 2024 and if the reason is bad internet, then might I suggest getting a Starlink or similar or on the other hand if it’s a case of not wanting to pay the bank charges that come with card payments, then don’t run a business. I felt like I was living back in the 70’s when told we don’t accept card payments. On another note, might I suggest that Suzie drive her vehicle with a little less gusto when driving...
