I've been a regular at "That Coffee Place," managed by the ever-friendly Jodie, for quite some time now, and it's about time I shared my thoughts about this gem in Eastbourne.

Firstly, the food here is simply delightful. Whether it's a quick bite or a leisurely brunch, the flavors and quality are consistently top-notch. But what really keeps me coming back is their flat white. It's arguably one of the best in town, with a perfect balance of espresso and milk – a true testament to her barista skills.

Service is another area where "That Coffee Place" shines. Jodie, is not just friendly but genuinely caring. She remembers your preferences, greets you with a smile, and make sure your visit is pleasant every time.

In terms of consistency, they've set the bar high. Whether it's a busy weekday morning or a relaxed weekend afternoon, the quality of food, drinks, and service never wavers. It's this reliability that makes it a go-to spot for many locals, including myself.

You’d be hard pressed not to find a coffee shop in Eastbourne, especially a location as a prime as the town centre. You’re never more than a stones throw from a local indie coffee house and all of them serve a stellar cup.

Another one to the mix could easily be written off as overkill, unnecessary and bold to take on well established businesses however That Coffee Place has quickly earned its place on the high street and is rapidly becoming one of the best in Eastbourne with its addictively smooth coffee, waist line ruining cakes, gorgeously unique interior design and wonderfully welcoming owner Jodie.

I’ve long been a regular patron at many of the coffee shops in the area but since opening I have been visiting That Coffee Place on average twice a day, 5 days a week - I’m not exaggerating. It’s just that good.

Visit the lovely ' that coffee place ' yesterday and omg what a hidden gem 💎. At first walking in it was like being somewhere from a movie . The Deco in Hayley's cafe is just beautiful 😍❤️. From the unique art on the walls to the ceiling and it's lighting plus the absolutely adorable toilet 🤩. The food in the cafe was amazing and the cake was so good . I drank a chai latte with coconut milk & had cheese mushrooms, tomato and pesto on toast and it was beautiful ❤️. The cafe was clean & Hayley who runs this beautiful little gem was so lovely friendly and polite . The cafe also holds event nights regularly too which I think is amazing 🤩. You can really see from visiting this beautiful cafe that Hayley puts her heart & soul into this beautiful business. Hayley also won the business of the year award locally for the past few years too!
