This is without a doubt the best cafe in the bay. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with any of your querys. But the best part is the food. I ordered a large fry-up and just wow.. Gordon Ramsay would be happy. Not greasy or over cooked, the food is all fresh and tastes like it's high quality. Price is fantastic. The atmosphere is clean and modern with a coffee house twist. We visited here on our trip to Torque. The 3 of us are fussy eaters and look for fresh, quality ingredients and Cafe Del Mar did not disappoint. Great selection of food which made choosing difficult! We bought Panini's, chips and a cake. 5* from the three of us. Staff went over and above to care for us - bringing water for the dog without being asked, no issues when I asked for something off menu and happily gave us cardboard take away boxes to finish out food later. The cold, bitter, frosty old lady who works at Delmar, (who I assume is the owner) is very ill mannered, rude and and had zero customer service skills at all. It's beyond me how people who are this disgustingly rude work with people.

The younger staff are very pleasant and I always have a laugh and a joke with them- I even tip generously. I will not ever return. I run and admin many groups on social media locally of several thousand members and will certainly be posting to avoid this establishment.
