Truly a hidden gem. Sat Navs find it hard to locate exactly, they just take you within 200 yards of, but persevere looking for this utterly excellent venue, you will be rewarded well. Excellent, skilled, friendly staff. Superb quality food sourced from fresh ingredients. Innovative and interesting menu with some classics you rarely see on menus today.. My main course option was a salade Nicoise, which was utterly superb in every way. The 'pudding' menu here is so, very very good too. Try the Treacle tart and banana ice cream - too yummy for words or the honeycomb cheesecake with raspberry coulis - marvellous!

We arrived at 6pm for an early meal with our 3 kids plus my wife's Aunt & Uncle. Very friendly and helpful staff. They explained that there was a birthday party on in one of their function rooms. They made space for our daughters wheelchair. Order at the till. Pay as you go. The food was good. Tasty. Everybody enjoyed their choices. There is a big garden space. Our boys ran around between courses! There was a BBQ area with prices on signs. I assume this is used in the daytime? Cosy, cute, interesting decor, friendly, Happy, dog friendly, child friendly, games, garden & fun!

Chelston Manor is one of our closest places to eat and was easily our first choice when we were choosing establishments to celebrate in after our wedding venue. The staff there are always so friendly, they really went all out to make our wedding day so special. The food tasted amazing and they were so great with my sister who had special dietary restrictions, changing and creating new dishes to suit her needs. You can tell that every staff, from the waitresses, to the chef and the owners are passionate about their jobs and give their all. Would recommend to anyone!

We booked here for a family meal. Made us feel unwelcome from the start. I asked if they had a drinks menu, no, then did they do mojito’s they said ‘no we’re not the type of establishment that does shots and cocktails’ I just wanted a long drink and didn’t fancy gin was made to feel judged like I was asking for triple shots in the day. My son was having a look around, not running or making a sound, but the landlady ran up panicking said he must stay seated at all times! Again no need for the tone. Ordered our food which was ok, standard pub food, the lady came over with a box of condiments and we had to chose which one we’d like and stood there until we took one each.. just let us help ourselves?? Seriously lacking in customer service skills which shows in the lack of atmosphere, it was silent and we were scared to talk or laugh for being watched our entire meal. Such a shame as I was visiting family I don’t get to see often but we rushed through our meal just to leave this place quickly! I’m surprised they ever get...

This really is a hidden gem of a place. My wife daughter & I really wanted a decent pub meal, not a chain pub - real food. We booked over the phone for the 26th May for a table at short notice with no fuss. My daughter & I went for the pie & my wife had the Roulade. Our daughter cheekily asked for some melted blue cheese to put on her meal to which “No problem” was the reply. The ladies working couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy and well looked after. On top of that the food was TOP, really TOP! So fresh and hot I had to let mine cool down a bit - the melted blue cheese was a great shout too to put on top of the chips which were so good. The meat in the pie was delicious. My wife’s meal was also excellent-not a scrap left on her plate. Finished off with a lovely blackcurrant sorbet which was lovely and refreshing. We’ve decided to come here more often because for value for money, genuine sincere service you can’t go wrong! Thank you for a lovely experience & we’ll see...

Where to start....went there for a family meal, my sister in law asked for a mojoto to be told that they don't serve shots or cocktails "they're not that sort of pub" ok you might not be but how hard is it for a pub to whip up a mojoto! My 3 year old nephew got up from the table as young children do and was told to stay sat down and then was handed some colouring in to do. I'd understand if he was running wild getting in the way but he wasn't. If you don't like children I suggest you state that you're not child friendly or have a separate room for people with young children. The food was ok but it all came out rather quick so we felt like we were being rushed. We asked for the bacon to be crispy and the ladies reply was "I'll see what we can do" with a look of disgust on her face. Rather than just leave the box of sauces for us she stood there and counted them out which was odd! The staff were rude and unfriendly and the atomsphere of the place well let's just say...
