A Standout Staple of Devon!

We've been coming to this fantastic café for a couple of years now, and have always enjoyed the food and the friendly staff. My wife always orders their excellent kedgeree, which is one of their best dishes in our opinion, as it's very well balanced with seasonings and ingredients. I've sampled most of their main menu items, all of which are great. Today they had a special burger with a Devon blue-cheese , which I had to try. I have to say this was the highlight for me, as the entire burger was perfectly seasoned and cooked; I believe this was the best restaurant burger I've had in a very long time!

The place is small, but don't let it fool you. The food is outstanding, and their cocktails are awesome. I'm looking forward to enjoying one of their tapas...

I class myself as a regular of this cafe. The food is always fantastic, the welcome is always warm from Dave and Jane. If you want to alteration to an order it is never an issue. They are always willing to cater for any request. The Sunday roast is the best in the bay, REAL roast potatoes and not those rubber ball kind (I suggest booking). The coffee is the nicest I have tasted as Dave is passionate about his coffee. Yes sometimes there is a slight wait when super busy, but when the food arrives it is hot and served with a high standard, its worth the wait. It's always clean and the friendly atmosphere attracts regulars who have almost become like an extended family. I honestly recommend this place 110%. Keep up the good work...

This place is a really gem in Torbay serving a lot of local produce including local cheeses you can buy from cabinet and take away.

Lots of free parking locally, lots of seating inside with the prettiest little enclosed garden where dogs can visit too.

The food was delicious and my blue cheese burger was the best I have ever. The portions are large and quality ingredients used.

The atmosphere is relaxed with nice back music and local feel. The waitress was very friendly and checked regularly if had everything we needed.

It has a little cinema, lots of evening events and can be hired for private functions.
