Really loved this place.
Went with a party of 11 and they fit us all in.
Asked for gluten free options for myself and they didn't have anything due to just opening, so I had a dark hot chocolate instead to fill me up. It was delicious but it only comes in a small cup so ordered another. (On my second visit they provided it in a latte cup and it felt a lot more substantial. I loved the finish on it)
My family had mostly breakfast sandwiches like sausage and bacon and black pudding but they looked great and they really didn't take long.
The staff were so lovely. So down to earth.
And they came to me after the second hot chocolate and said they'd just bought some gluten free bread if I wanted a sandwich, which was so considerate of them. But I was full from my two hot chocolates š but I had some toast and it was very good gf bread.

We felt so welcome by Jo and Mark the owners, breakfast was lovely and prepared for us fresh, the owners took the time out to show some interest in all four of us and I can see massive things on the horizon for this fantastically situated accommodation.
Ill be back "sorry ARNIE" couldnt resist but all jokes aside we will be, I actually wanted to keep this place to myself but to good to not share cheers Jo & Mark from Anthony Lappin...

The proprietors are lovely people and provided us with exactly what the children wanted. I tried a bowl of the home made soup, one of the best I've tasted, and quite filling. All in all a pleasant experience, right on the main tourist trail, yet tucked away at the bottom of the Abbey steps. If they're not too busy, which they weren't when we first when in, then Dan will happily talk music with you, sparked off by the eclectic display of...
