We were recently staying in Perranporth, visiting family and we decided to have cake and coffee here after spending a hour in the sea last Tuesday(21st May), early afternoon.
We sat outside on the roof terrace as the weather was really nice. We didn’t have much contact with the staff apart from when we placed our order. We were given a buzzing alarm to come collect our order when it went off and that was it for staff interaction.
We had a really nice Cruffin each. My partner had a chocolate one and I had salted caramel. I’d not had one before and they were really nice. I’m not sure if they were made on site or if they were wholesale but they were really good.
For the two Cruffins and two coffees, it was £15.30. A little steep but even Costa and Starbucks are over priced these days.
I would definitely come back here again. I liked it but would have loved it even more if our order was less than £13.00 which seemed more reasonable for what we had.

The view? Even on a cloudy day, it still made me question why I ever pay council tax anywhere else. Coffee that strong, service that good, and scenery that makes you feel like you’re in a Cornish screensaver. ☕🌊
Highly recommend – even if you’re a grumpy northerner who usually complains about clouds.

Read moreSomething needs to change here, the staff do not know how to make a hot drink, it’s shoved into a tiny mug now and not hot and when you ask them to have it hot they look at you like you’ve asked them to dig to China.
The tables aren’t clean or tidied away when you sit down, it’s not even peak season yet! The food has really gone downhill, they can’t make a decent coffee either. No greeting when you walk in or a have a nice day, employ older staff who actually care.
It may be nice views but that’s it , I would advise pack your own food and enjoy the views without opening your wallet...
