Aroma Shawarma — Restaurant in England

Nice looking place, good atmosphere. I was impressed with the fact they serve charcoal grill. Friendly staff. What I was not impressed with was the fact I have paid 22 pounds for three skewers and asked to have the food as eating in, I have waited for 10 minutes at a table to be asked to pick up my bagged food. So no eat in option? What are the tables for then? Maybe the staff just assumed it will be a take away? Secondly, where is all the food I paid for? Surely not in the boxes I was unpacking. One box containing one naan bread and 4 small chunks of meat. One other box containing 6 chunks of ribs.

It felt like a rip off. Pack the food, give it to the person and surely they are not going to come back complaining that there is food missing. I will definitely go back there. Just to give them a piece of mind. Someone please explain how is it possible that three skewers have 6 pieces of meat each and after grilling these 18 pieces transform into smaller 10 pieces. I read a review... smaller portions/bigger sizes. Your average UK food experience. Pay the money, get ripped off, write a google review....

Upon walking in I was directed to a dirty table until we decided to move to a new fresh table. After asking for items displayed on the shop window, which were no on available. They were sold out of many items. The staff took our order without a note pad and my partner also mentioned not to forget. We ordered chicken samosas and falafel for starters, chicken shish and shawarma wrap for mains. Only for the waitress to come back a tell us they ran out of sharwama, the mains arrived whilst we still waiting for starters, we cancelled the starters and then they mentioned it was sent to the wrong table, my partner was very angry at myself for choosing Aroma, they still sent the starters insisting that it's free. But the Samosas were wrong again, veg given not chicken. I've been here before and the food was nice, but they failed to provide a good service. Room for improvement: lack of training, no management structure, staff need to right orders down instead of imagining they can remember all orders. After today I wont be visiting or recommending this...

We have ordered a delivery trough Uber eats we had ordered 2 salmon and lamb qouzi. We had got a call from a waitress working over there I swear to god I have never seen more rude service she has been so rude and tried to tell us how our order will come and she pretended she could not hear us when we told her that we are not happy with the changes she is making . We have asked to speak with a Kurdish person in there as we thought she is playing up and she was ! however when we asked to speak with a Kurdish person she have been talking to her colleagues and we could hear us she said that we are stupid and we don’t understand what she is saying than that Kurdish person would have taken the phone. very disappointing! If you have restaurant make sure your customers are treated right. We have got a burned fish and old lamb qozi terible experience! Will never order from you again and we will make sure to spread the word. If the owner read this take care mate you will...
